Robyn is using at least one of their bedrooms as a meditation room, because of course she is. I think the house is a three bedroom, though - so Atlas may have his own space. Looks like they were using the room for storage, and stuff still needs to be moved out.

Maybe Luna's balloon head has reached stage so fragile that either of her brothers could pop it by moving in their sleep.

I realize it isn’t Luna’s fault that she’s a seizing potato seemingly in constant horror at whatever Lovecraftian monsters her dead eyes perceive. But if I were freshly postpartum, full of the associated hormones and emotions, I wouldn’t be able to tolerate Luna rotting quietly in the corner of the room where my newborn slept. She’s like a visible specter of death: forced to endure over many years the moment of unlife that only briefly precedes oblivion for the rest of us. No new baby should sleep in the shade of such a nightmare.

If Robyn is removing Luna from the fAmiLy bEdrOom, it would be the one indicator to me that she does actually possess maternal instincts. She SHOULD prioritize her living children who can benefit from her attentions. Whether Luna rots in a walk-in closet or in Robyn’s bed will make no difference at all in the outcome of Luna’s life.

Atlas appears to have been moved into one of the other bedrooms, one large enough to accommodate his new bunk bed. Looks like the eventual plan is to put the boys together in one room, given that Atlas has a space saving bunk bed with room for a bottom bunk.

But if one of those hippies doesn't tell Atlas not to jump on his raised bed, he could well end up with a cracked skull when he bounces right off the sides. God forbid Glenn bestir himself to verbally redirect his child's dangerous behavior.

The good thing about that bunk bed is that it’s an ikea “loft” bed, not as tall as a regular bunk bed, and, it’s pretty cool because it can be a single bed or a bunk bed depending on how you flip it.

The bottom mattress can only be like 4” thick though and is 100% on the floor which is icky long term.

Absolutely still a PITA to change the sheets though, lol.

I really hope that TV is coming down from the wall if that's Atlas' room. I'm not even someone who is overly concerned about screen time for kids, but it seems pretty irresponsible to put a television in your toddler's room. Idk. Sorry if I'm doing a version of pearl-clutching. Obviously Globyn has done way worse things to their children, but still.

I'm thinking she basically sneezed and popped out a baby, no orgasms, no birth swing, no choir of angels. Slow birth (and stupidity) doomed Luna, so you'd think she'd be grateful, but this is Robyn.

Woody is cute, and I hope he's a hellion. I'm glad that Atlas finally got his big boy bed, and I hope it's because he's expressing a healthy desire for independence but I suspect it's because he's served his purpose for Robyn. He's been refusing to cooperate for breastfeeding pictures for awhile now, and it's obvious that Robyn wants a prop, not a child.

She should've just gotten Reborn dolls. She's said nothing about the miracle that is Woody and has only talked about how it feels for her to have a new baby. Glenn is obviously checked out and isn't even pretending to be interested. It's kind of impressive that she can splash this all over social media without seeing how it really looks.

Idk, I think it can be normal. It's only been a week or so. I mean, Woody might look a teeny bit downsy, but he could just be squished/puffy from the birth still. I really do hope he okay and lives a good healthy life- but I also really dont want other women to be persuaded that hospitals are evil...and that because Robyn had 2/3 healthy kids at home that the odds are good for them.

Just for fun, here is an ear comparison from a Downs baby. I doubt he has it but he is oddly puffy, so I could see it. Who knows.

I have a friend whose prenatal testing came back fine (neuchal translucency, anatomy and amniotic volume) yet her daughter was born with profound DS, diagnosed pretty much the day she was born. My friend was in her 20s at the time and went on to have 2 chromosomally normal children.

I read another similar story where tests were normal but baby was diagnosed right after birth.

This of course requires the baby being seen by an actual MD for diagnosis which we know isn't going to happen in this situation. I guess we know Robyn isn't having them circumcised either and I doubt she has ever had proper instruction on how to deal with that and how to teach THEM to deal with that when they get older.

Yeah there are a few that aren't caught ahead of time. The programs that decide the chances will miss that 1 in 14,000 positive and will also give a bunch of false positives too. My Obstetrician even said his wife had a false positive for a terminal prenatal condition and the weeks they had to wait for further testing was the worst of their lives (they had a healthy baby). He explained that there are more false positives from these tests than actual cases of the condition.

I doubt little Woodrow is a Downie though. He doesn't have the right features to me. He could have puffy eyes from Luna and the womb ghosts making him see horrors beyond our comprehension.

I think either Glenn said he needed some damn sleep to support a family of five, or Robyn was totally knocked out by a swift bathroom birth and a cranky newborn. They're big talkers about their life theories, but they're both looking after their own personal comfort as much as possible at all time. Luna was always in danger with an active toddler in the family bed, so maybe the trundle bed has been there for a while but Robyn didn't want to show it.

The master bedroom toddler bed was clearly in place when Woody arrived; it wouldn't have been there less than 24 hours after the birth otherwise. Whether it was already there for Atlas or the potato in unknown. The bunk bed seems to be a brand new addition, given Atlas's total joy in jumping on it and happily tucking himself in.
