I don't know if Rocio's the creator's actual name, but in the videos "Rocio" refers to the in-universe creator of the games, who based Lacey on herself, killed herself and is seemingly stuck inside of both the games and the website. It's presumed a good amount of the trauma Lacey went through, like killing her uncle for killing her dog, or being raped and shit, were based on Rocio's life.
Also the game on steam is apparently just a fangame.

I've just listened to this & the first story is about a dad who's eating & basically feeding his family 'exotic meat' without telling them. Kangaroo, rat, bushmeat and whatnot. Kinda icky, I have to admit.

Kangaroo meat tastes pretty bad but I've been told that it's a very sustainable source of protein, even if it means Australians are feasting on one of their two nation's icons (other being the emu, I guess).
I've had crocodile meat before, tastes like chicken.

I'll stick to normal meats but claiming this will lead to cannibalism is a very long stretch. Even if those protein choices were unusual, you'll still find them in the supermarket which was likely his source.

Still don't know how fast it blew up. One minute it wasn't here, and the next it was. All thanks to Night Mind. It's just like with any other horror nowadays, it's spoopy and scary but doesn't bother to actually do MORE with it and stick within the "safe edgy" territory. The "most disturbing" ARGs/Analog Horror stuff is "safe edgy". It's the BARE minimum. Nothing more, NOTHING LESS. People gas it up, and creators know they don't have to worry about ACTUALLY making horror unsettling and disturbing. They need at least 50 trigger warnings, constant coddling to the fanbase, all of that.

Welcome Home's the worst example of this and I hate it so, so much. You can tell the creator spend YEARS on this and worked their bum off getting to where they are now. I won't deny whatsoever that they deserve the success but gosh I wish the thing stayed as something wholesome or mildly disturbing but not oopy spoopy scary at all. But THAT wouldn't be enough for the genderspecial audience and the youtubers exaggerating the story over and over again, wouldn't it?

I will break characther of being a "no-fun everything sucks ass nigger", but i will admit i enjoy welcome home not as an ARG or horror shit but just as a simple " fake puppet show", the voice acting is decent, the art is made with care, and you can tell the guy behind it did his work to make it feel aunthentic, specially with the animations and characther dynamics. the "fake show" itself its very inoffensive and any youtuber putting tranny queer shit narrative on it is projecting, because faggots work on it, the most relationship there is its from the squidward guy and the retarded blonde girl, i wish clown would just make more fake audiobooks with the characthers as it the strongest point of Welcome Home and stopped the whole retarded ARG Spooky bullshit, is disrespectful this amount of effort its compared with shit like Chezzkids, the Walten files, Godzilla horror or Mandela Catalogue.

To be fair, Blood Meridian is based on a point in history, and based on stuff that actually happened. Where as Urbanapooks work is basically "Then the little girl was gigaraped and her father's teeth were shoved up her asshole while her mother was set on fire and dunked in boiling water."
Its shock value. I'm not saying it's bad, or that there isnt a story. But the gore, violence, and disturbing artwork is the main appeal for most.

I can see why he would give Blood meridian some slack while finding Urbanspooks work unappealing. From what I remember he wasn't even that harsh on it. Atleast not nearly as much as pearl clutchers like Pastra.

I know there's a thread on Welcome Home that goes into more details, but apparently the ARG got rebooted way back because people figured out the twist that "Wally is the bad guy" or something way too soon. It definitely pissed off quite a few people since the story they had been following for a long while didn't matter anymore to the canon.

Granted, I do think the artist behind it is quite talented and there is definitely a lot of work that's been put behind it. The story and characters themselves are really nothing that impressive, but I feel like the creator has great potential in being a concept artist or something along that lines in the professional world.

I partly agree because "projecting"? ALL characters in this are canonically some flavor of fag. It even states their sexualities and whatnot in the site itself last I've seen it. Clown used to ship the hell out of her (because it's obviously a woman) two characters, Wally and that dog guy. There's plenty of talk about it in the WH thread. She very obviously likes all the porn and genderspecial shit, and even encouraged it in the past.
