  • Nick's interactions with her were "confusing and baffling"; first glass of whiskey gone
  • fat people on planes, goes exactly as you'd expect; "Why didn't she fly first class?"; that was the segment

This kind of pits loyalty to two former Nick collaborators against each other: Elijah Schaffer v. Jeremy Hambly.

Hambly hasn't really been around Nick IIRC since that coffee shilling stream where he facedoxxed his wife to shave his beard off for coffee orders.

He used to do a shared YT livestream with Watson called Community Notes, but it seemed to end when Hambly worked out his own Rumble deal to do an exclusive weekday show with Melonie Mac and Styxenhammer.

AFAIK it's been awhile since Schaffer has been on with Nick as well. Since one of his drunken messy streams after his podcast with The Blaze and Watson fell apart.
It seems he's resurfaced again on Gavin McInnes' Censored.tv network.

You don't think he would put in some effort for Daddy Dax? Nick has 7-8 hour shows when Dax is on. I think he'd make the time and find it in his schedule much more often than for his regular show.
I think he would. At first. But as soon as he were comfortable, he would revert to his normal slacker work ethic.

Here's the full rant. Never thought I'd get it to upload. This is a Hell of a self-report by Nick.

EDIT: My take is his rant's a mix of pretending he's being pedantic about legal concepts rather than seizing an excuse to blabber about child porn and "thy lady doth protest too much" when he gets into the "they should castrated by nuclear missiles!"
Over the last year or so I've joined in on the "fuck nick" train. But the whole CP thing is a pedantic legal argument between lawyers. Obviously it's going to be pedantic, they're fucking lawyers, that's all they do. But people misconstruing it as anything other than that are being really weird. Just because you don't understand what they're saying that doesn't mean you can pretend they're saying something they aren't.

If what Nick was saying was truly unhinged, the other lawyer in the convo (Uncivil) would have had a strong reaction to it. The fact that Uncivil is willing to hear Nick out and discuss it should show you that they are just having a pedantic discussion, and I don't think pedantic discussions themselves are always bad. Maybe it's boring content for some people, but that's different than what people are making it out to be.

ETA: Lacked sufficient context. Stated opinion here is very wrong. Nick is creepy.

nick has a brutal combination of

1: being a drunk with no filter.

2: for some reason legitimately thinking saying terrible and out of pocket things in and of itself = funny.

3: being too much of a lawyer (despite being non practicing) that when the "joke" fails instead of just letting it go, he feels like he has to argue in favor of the horrible thing he just said to justify having said it.

If this was an isolated incident then sure, but when every other day he's raving over crappy movies about old men fucking teenage girls, telling literal pedophiles like Vito "what's a little pedo amongst friends?", eager to glow up violent prison rapists in interviews, making diaper fetish jokes about abused preteen girls, and defending Cuties as having artistic merit, it becomes hard to see him also suddenly having "nuanced child pornography" takes and really believe it's only pedantic legal analysis (especially considering how little he seems to actually care about the law nowadays, he can't even participate in his own cases anymore).

Kurt is a law autist and you shouldn't expect a normal reaction from him and his "What the fuck are we talking about?" especially during the CSAM tangent speak volumes to how out of place and weird it was.

Also, it's not like the entire thread is deliberately misunderstanding Nick's pedantic argument. Nick has a weird fixation with underage sex / pushing sexual boundaries. Go back and watch the myriad of clips of him discussing American Beauty or the handful of other Lolita type French art movies he's praised.

CSAM is on his mind, he acts jovial when discussing the topic, and it's fucking weird even if this specific argument in this case wasn't some glaring red flag.

Nope.
I thought it was just a horrendous joke he was trying hard to double down on but the disgust in Kurt's face and the seriousness in Balldo's face tells it all.
He chose to die on this hill, it's his fault.

By a strict literal reading of your argument I agree, but there is more context here.

Nick has praised American Beauty over and over to a disturbing (even to EVS, Dax, and other non-Farmers) degree.

Nick is now praising the film where a woman is chained to a radiator.

Nick has talked positively about Leon the Professional (underage Natalie Portman), Blue Lagoon (underage Brooke Shields), the Porky films, and others.

Nick has cozied up to Vito whom he called disgusting prior to Dax having on ad a co-host. Vito has made unironic peado-positive statements.

Nick has also changed his stance on Cuties--going from an 'as a parent this is disgusting and made by paedos that should be lined, but not strictly bankable by the TX AG' to 'LMAO! It is bot illegal. *I* wouldn't watch it, but you need to calm down and stop talking about banning stuff. Incel prude Scandanavian Republicans! Fun Police!'

What is even more damning is that despite all the above as far as I can recall NO ONE has seriously contended for the idea that Nick is a paedo himself. There have been jokes but no serious allegations. This speaks to the self-restraint of the users here, and it gives Nick no grounds to cry 'They defamed me (like I did Monty)!'

TL;DR: The overall tone of the thread has been very measured and restrained, so this is not an over-reaction. Nick Jason done suspect things but never received a railing accusation.

Of course we expect lawyers to get into pedantic arguments. Much the same as we expect generals to talk about troop losses and potential strategic sacrifices in service of the overall military effort. Do you think medical professionals do not gossip with co-workers or spouses about parents? HOWEVER, there is a very good reason these discussions take place IN PRIVATE and not in public.

Kind of like talking about your sex life in public... huh? But I guess Nick doesn't believe in that one either...

@Himedall All-seeing Waifu this is useful context, thank you! That's... a lot more weird. I didn't have some of these things in mind and didn't know about the American Beauty thing or that he changed his opinion on Cuties to presumably suck the nuts of juju. With all the context together this is a lot creepier. A grown man with kids should not be this obsessed with the discussion of child porn.

I found the argument itself deplorable. If prurient interest is the qualification for free speech (which is the argument Nick is making for why it's good to have porn), then the argument would follow that since some people DO have a prurient interest in CP, it should be considered free speech.

superchat:"How are the ceiling cats and corner demons?"
belated coping about midshow break; his schedule needed to change because he had "stopped considering other people", clearly talking about his wife; he wants to "deliver a good product... a better me" to his fans; emphasizes several times how candid and open he is
  • superchat:"Go snort a few lines of Provigil"; Nick explains how Provigil works; second glass of whiskey gone (1h48m)
  • Nick only takes Provigil "once... maybe a month" when he drives; he's never on it while doing the show; but he does use it when covering a trial; when he does Provigil he doesn't drink
  • superchat:"Why were you tweaking last night?"; "Guys, it's the internet... some of you are fucking retarded... your perception of how other people should or shouldn't act isn't really normative"
  • talks about his guns and that robotic dog again
  • superchat:"Can't afford Locals gift but has plenty of money for dog flamethrowers."; Nick avoids the subject
Jew comedy with Jew hat
super chats; thinks Kurt is great and yesterday's show was fun; more guests next week

With the Ceiling Cat clip, is Nick soft-doxxing the chatter ?Jrock's? profession, or am I mis-understanding?

Also, Nick is out of touch with his audience and is done pretending to be the blue collar everyman who grew up poor. He likes to pretend he is living a Rockstar lifestyle, but that is embarrassing as a 40 y/o man with 5 children he is supposed to take care of.

I might be late on this, but how long has Nick been slurping the booze juice out of this mug?

Did all of the glass fondling and bottle licking jokes finally get to his fragile ego? Don't worry Nick, we still know what you have in that cup of yours, we can tell by how incomprehensibly retarded you sound slurring every other sentence.

He's really struggling to hold that thing up, so he won't be using that mug forever.
