The reason he got many views on part 1 because he clickbaited it, even lied about it. It looks like he was playing the patched version, but it was the day before. People wanted to see new version and when they saw its still the old, disliked and did not stick around for part2.
To add to this, he says that he only made 3 cents of adrev from it, meaning that barely anyone even got to a single midroll ad, which is insane considering that Phail packs as many midroll ads as possible into his videos. I remember 2 years ago I turned off adblock just to see how many ads would play on his videos and I'd get 10 for an hour long video.

There's not much I'd pay for but I'd pay someone to do a perfect 3d scan of Dave's head down to the skull so we can see just how fucked up his head shape is, see there's a reason why he's always angled like this because a perfect 90 degree profile would show how flat the back of his neanderthal skull truly is. Considering he genuinely thinks we are all unemployed basement dwellers and we all detract to make our livings off him when even the most popular detractors probably aren't making enough to live off this shit, he would be. CT Condo, as other's states, however there have been a few more recorded instances besides that Spider-Man one.
