Warhammer 40k

  • 🔧 At about Midnight EST I am going to completely fuck up the site trying to fix something.
That is such a good looking mini. I've been a lore fag since I read the first HH book in highschool and I've read 100s of books and played most of the video games available but I'm colorblind so I've avoided buying minis or playing tabletop because of it.

I think i just have to bite the bullet and buy some starter mechanicus set once I buy my house. It might look weird but it'll be neat. Are there any colorblind painters here?

Oh no!! I am so sorry...I know a couple of the painters on youtube I have watched recently have mentioned being red-green colorblind, if I am remembering correctly. I will try and sift through my recent watches and see if I can find their channels again so I can give you their names. Maybe you can harness it for your benefit by selecting paint schemes that look good to your eyes, but is so wildly different than anything someone with fullcolor vision might create, and it ends up looking really unique and awesome because of it.

I don't know, I ordered when I did from hobby shops in Hungary as there are no GW stores in the country.

So I think I must have gotten them through some other channel than the USA, a devastator squad is 50 dollars, roughly by my drunken estimate.

Not that I'm buying it, but that's what a quick googling told me. I would want to finish my pile of shame as it is mostly outdated stuff that I can't even resell, so may as well paint it. What other paints offer GW's wide scale and good paints of citadel?
Practially everyone these days. Not to mention being cheaper than citadel.

Army Painter fanatic, Vallejo, AK interactive 3rd gen, Duncan Rhodes 2 thin coats, ProAcryl, they all have modern lines of paint released within the past few years. Duncan Rhodes' paint just got another batch of colors added, Army Painter finally fixed their shitty paint and launched it with a huge line. Citadel is kinda crap these days by comparison(even before the rip off prices).

The only good use I had of Citadel were there contrast paints line, mostly because where I live we haven't gotten any of the contrasts types from Vallejo or Army Painter, I do like Vallejo's Game Color line, those are rather nice to use.

I am convinced at this point that Citadel paint pots (especially the taller shade pots) are designed to topple over and get all crusty under the cap so you will spill/waste the paint and have to buy more of it. But the little pots are so cute...ahh, stop it, that's how they get you...

Boycotts won't work, as GW is being fed from the endless money bag of (((Larry Fink))) and (((Amazon))). What they need is abandoning the franchise and no longer consuming goyslop propaganda.

Because that way it will be just propaganda that goes out into the ether, not damaging any white, and Fink's money will be wasted, while my money goes to China, away from (((Uncle Sam)))'s grubby long nosed hands!
I hate to be the one to break this to one but Blackrock et al have bought the shares TO MAKE MONEY FROM GW PROFITS.

Anyone done a deep dive of the accounts to see if the have a bunch of loans to GW?

You retards need to get better YouTube edaddys and maybe go out into the real world.

That's actually easy. We go back to the same investor relations page I linked previously, and look up their 2023-2024 half year report(the current one).

So their liabilities are damn near next to nothing by comparison to the rest of their financials. So no, they don't have any massive loans out from blackrock or vanguard, or really anyone. Now I know you didn't search for this, but you're not grifting. For a grifter this shit would have taken 2 minutes to look up because again... publicly traded company.

I suppose you can explain it with Primaris Marine reinforcements. The Imperium kidnaps biologically-fit males from some hive world dump where they used to be factory workers, brainwashes them and gives them Primaris Geneseeds for chapters that are getting nearly annihilated, then they send out these replacements to replenish nearly-decimated chapters in between the novels.
That's pretty much what GW had to do in the Gathering Storm. Yeah, they use it to sell more figures, but the justification is that after too many novels of catastrophic losses, they had to justify the various chapters not getting annihilated after the galaxy gets ripped in two.

Just finished Rogue Trader.
A really good game (and a long one as well) but good god, was it buggy as shit at times.
At the end, I just wanted to get done with this game.
A very strong first outing for a true Wh40k Rpg and I can't wait to see more.
There's apparently gonna be some DLC's coming down the line. So, that should be nice.

I’m a lazy phone fag. I know how to look up companies house and do KYC checks on companies but unless someone is paying me to do it I really can’t be bothered.

The lack of loans should be a clue to the spergs in this thread that Blackrock aren’t forcing them to change; this is entirely self inflicted.

I’ve never seen a troon in their head office photos but I’m willing to bet a few people with influence have trooned out.

I know its reddit, but this is actually pretty damn based

Bitshammer is by far the worse. He’s your stereotypical leftist loser who gets a crumb of social media recognition and lets it gets to his head. He also showed off his self no doubt to try to get a crumb of pussy for supporting his jerk off material in the lore

Speaking of leftists, here's another insufferable cunt (no, not Arch)

Check out this work in progress "Abbadon with helmet" mod. He looks so much cooler with a nice longtusk Terminator helmet.

got loads left to do on this guy, from edge highlighting metallics to preparing the (hopefully not too complicated) wet-fading on the pallet for when I am ready to finish that sword. I tried to make all of the Icons appear as though they were glowing a soft red, so there must now be a small light source inside each one of the center of each or the eyes or wherever makes sense. The fur will cover up the left pauldron and its Icon, so I did nothing with that one. I did an Eye of Horus on the right. All other Icons on the model (boots, glove, skull rack thingy) have a dull red glow provided by Spiritsone Red technical.

outside1.png have to paint that brazier and finish washing and highlighting the furry coat

I am really proud of how good that helmet addition turned out. I had to get in there and clip off parts of the sculpt so dramatically I was worried it might not work but it fits like a glove. Also I am just now noticing I didn't drill out his two glove gun barrels.

I decided not to do the tedious Black Legion "inner-panel edge highlights" of incubi darkness/dark blue leading into fenrisian grey/light blue, just because I actually don't care for the way those look (think any box art depicting black colored Chaos Marines). I prefer a much darker jet black armor on these guys, and just leave the edge highlighting and armor panel blending to the red chaos marines. This one will have all of those red glowing effects to make him stand out anyway.
