Still, to an extent you have a point. Pamperchu admitted to victimizing the children living on his island and evades consequences because all the local police will do is pull up, say "so, we've heard some things," he refuses to let them check his phone for child porn, and then they drive off. We are simply a gossip forum at the end of the day and if people are going to abuse children despite it being exposed for the whole world to see, then that's the world we live in.

What else can you do? Join the local police in his area and insist from the inside that they convince a judge to sign a warrant to seize his encrypted hard drives and then break into them? We're just people doing what we can. I can't speak for others, but I wish I could do more.

People "actually doing something" either doesn't do shit, or fucks things up for the actual authorities trying to investigate and prosecute pedophiles. Investigating, archiving and gathering dox in a way that doesn't tip the target off and then making a report or submitting a cybertip does help. Best practices really is to file a report first, and wait to post dox and archive until the investigation is complete, because unless you're prepared to testify for the state in court, your screenshots and archives don't help at all if the target has DFE'd and law enforcement can't obtain their own copies directly. "I found it in a post on kiwi farms" doesn't constitute proper foundation in court.

This. I would even advise against reporting to platforms at all unless it becomes apparent that the authorities aren't acting, because the platforms will often just destroy potential evidence to cover their own asses.

The vast majority of people who get away with crimes get away because ordinary people don't speak up and report it, or aren't willing to cooperate with the prosecution when it comes time for trial. Law enforcement can't arrest, and prosecutors can't prosecute, unless people in the community are willing to report shitbirds when they encounter them.

I am doing something tangible. I've spread evidence of this to 2 parents that I know and they have both taken their children off of all social media including discord permanently. It may not be much right now but imagine the consequences of what them not knowing about this would have been. It is a guarantee that their kids would have been exposed to this degenerate community at some point on discord and knowing that I helped prevent that is enough in my eyes.

But I couldn't have done that without the evidence from this thread and others like it. Since I know that I do not have the time or willpower to compile this stuff myself. So special thanks to all the other Kiwis who are brave enough to sift through this cesspit to document it, you are doing more help than you will ever know.

What else can you do?

Convince parents that you know to take their kids off of social media until they are 18. I know it sounds like a tall order but if you show them what's been documented on this thread they will understand it and will take appropriate action.

And keep in mind that this is just CyberTips. That's one source of these cases, and it's a major one but there's also a lot of cases that come in from local PD detectives catfishing, parents finding out about their kid's internet activity and reporting it, and ordinary people making reports to their local PD, or their state level investigation authority. Most states have a state equivalent to the FBI which often takes the lead on Internet cases, and making a report to that agency can often be the most effective way to get a case moving.

Also, we don't monitor every new account that joins. It would be impractical, considering how many new people join every day.
Also, if a minor really wanted to look at porn, they'd just go to pornhub or Google search literally anything remotely horny, which requires no age verification whatsoever and is a lot more accessible than some random discord server.
