I'm all for commission artists getting their fair pay but hell, that art isn't even that good... Even if the bulk of the cost came from 24 (WHY) variations, I still don't understand dropping THAT much money on it. Especially since it's not exactly hard to find probably the exact same image already done elsewhere in the MLP community. Reminds me of this furry I read about on ED forever ago who literally was homeless but still took every dollar he got donated and spent it on commissions.
I think the thing that really makes my blood boil with Sats is the constant excuse as to why she can't work, because I've seen it from so many other types like her on tumblr. Spoiled as shit 19-20yos who have never worked a day in their life complaining they can't work because "huu huu muh anxiety..." but not doing anything to make themselves capable of entering the workforce or finding jobs that fit with their needs. Can't handle the high volume high stress of cashiering at a place like Target or Walmart? Get a job at a convenience store since your customers there tend to be regulars and the atmosphere is much more chill. Can't deal with people face to face? Look for work at a call center or data entry. There's plenty of options for entry level jobs that don't require more than a diploma but because these kids are used to having everything paid for and handed to them they have no desire to actually try and look beyond "well I don't wanna work at McDonald's so CLEARLY there is nothing I can do but BEG".
Honestly, it really makes me curious as to what these people are going to do in 10 years or so, when the e-begging has dried up and they realize they're 30 and have no work experience because they spent the formative years for that commissioning pony porn and shitposting.
