Actually, he didn’t work at a bank that was legitimately false information
Yeah and no
He had an internship at TD bank for 4 months and didn't update his social media to show that he no longer worked there.
I feel a bit sorry for him, but then I also remember that we've had these problems for years now at this point, of Indians going to fleece charities and brag about 'how thrifty they are' on social media to the point that many bar Indians;
So this poor SOB gets the wraith of the entire nation when he makes a tiktok doing the same thing.
Unfortunately, while I feel a bit sorry for the dude in some sense, dont fuck around with this shit, is it really that complex?
And if you don't understand why you shouldn't be doing this stuff, if there's such a cultural gap between you and the host country's culture, then frankly you do not belong here? If you have to explain to new employees "hay, defrauding charity being a bad thing isnt a law, but its a huge social taboo", maybe they just shouldn't be hired?
Either way, he didnt generate all the hate people have towards him, but he did receive the build up. Wrong time, wrong place, wrong move on his part.
Not to get all

But they're literally taking our jobs, and even from our charities when 1/6 Canadians is facing food insecurity now and we're in a major economic crisis. If someone's guilty, its him in part I guess, but really its the government for unloading them on us at this point in time and the scam of a college system we have.
Its not even a case of "well theyre better so they deserve the job". If only it was that. But Indians are some of the laziest, scammiest people out there, who are getting these jobs because they will work cheaper, will work shittier shifts, and are willing to get a lot dirtier to get the position. They are literally here as a replacement cooley class.
