Power leveling here, but I recently reread Misery (and then had to watch it because why not) and I was struck by the resemblance between Annie Wilkes and Kai. Particularly the scene where she defends the notion that since she got the expensive writing paper, it has to be better.

For Kai, that Olay brush isn't as good as that super expensive one. It doesn't have that prestige.

Kai wanting prestige, my ass. Look at her perspective of life, her attitude towards her parents, Gracie and her future, subscribers, politicians, and tell me that's 'prestige'. Not trying to sound insulting to you, Falsies, but Kai's wannabe prestige ass bugs the hell out of me.

Oh you don't sound insulting, and I completely agree with you. She hopes that the brands and prices are enough to impress people, while at the same time being...well, her.

It's actually quite simple, the darker color nail polishes are at the back of the store. Kai can't help but grab the first makeups she sees, and when her hands are full, she goes to check out, because she must have gotten what she wanted. Once she's done at the check out, it must be time to go, so she leaves.

Her fade outs and over-enunciation in the new video were awful. Big girl is trying SO HARD to be a helpful youtuber, so we hear that toothpaste packaging is "intriguing." And thoughtful insights like she bought a topcoat because she "needed it."

And yet we are still waiting to see the mascara wand-so disappointing she forgot because I'm sure few among us have seen a maybelline mascara wand.

Honestly, this video, more than any other-more even than the candle video-shows how very mentally slow she is. Girl is truly speshul. I almost feel bad for her now.

She is so rough around her eyes with that makeup removing cloth. I feel so bad for delicate eye skin... bitch's bags and wrinkles are only going to get worse.

With that many open sores on her face, she really shouldn't be using that scrub. It's pretty abrasive, it would be better to just use water mixed with baking soda. Also why use peroxide?! I actually feel bad for her skin, it all sounds so painful.

Depends...if Gracie wanted to go to college, and needed financial aid, Kai would have to sign off on the forms for her to get aid or loans. At least that's how it was back in the day- a relative of mine had a high school friend whose father was really adamant about girls not going to any kind of college or trade school and refused to sign off on her financial aid forms (she ended up forging his signature from what I was told). Merit-based scholarships are getting harder and harder to come by these days I if you can't get your parents to sign off for need-based forms...

Never underestimate the willingness of assholes to fuck over their own offspring.

So on her snaps today she posted a collection of videos of Gracie playing with her dad. They were outside and that made me realize - Kai never takes Gracie outdoors. She's always in the same room and it doesn't seem as if she gets any change of scenery at all. So I'm guessing it was the dad's idea to take her outside?

How sad.

I want to say you also can't get financial aid if your parents don't pay taxes, and since Kailyn doesn't work...
