we get diarrhoea-level thinking about sex being a spectrum, everything is a social construct, men have no physical advantages over women, everyone has a gender soul… it’s genuine anti-science right up there with faith healing.
Painfully true. It's a combination of trans movements cannibalising gay and women's rights activism, really. And people thinking that gender identity must be a real thing because 'queer theory' exists and sounds scientific enough. People want to believe something because it means supporting a marginalised minority/freedom to express yourself, not because it's scientifically sound.

But also, political tribalism exists preventing genuine critical thought, making them very unwilling to go against their friends' values and opinions. People on the left are also terrified of 'propaganda' brainwashing them into bigotry, especially because of the previously stated linking of gay rights to transgender ideology.

It’s astonishing how these people can exercise critical thinking perfectly well when it comes to religion, homeopathy, UFOs, Bigfoot and whatever, and yet when it comes to the trans issue, that part of their brain completely switches off and we get diarrhoea-level thinking about sex being a spectrum, everything is a social construct, men have no physical advantages over women, everyone has a gender soul… it’s genuine anti-science right up there with faith healing.
I think what astounds me the most is a lot of secular leftists would mock religions as nothing but superstitions ideas, and would laugh at a guy who claims he can "feel" god's presence.Yet a guy who claims he feels like a woman? He's totally a woman deep down because "Nobody would go through all of that if they werent."Mind you some of these people are the same ones who take "two spirits" from native american culture to prove transgenderism is real.Really? You mock religions as delusions but when it comes to a NA culture that believed in some spiritual idea of transgenderism suddenly we should take that religion seriously?Mind you that most trannies dont want a CT brain scan to prove that they are women deep down, and just want people to take their word for it.Like how the fuck do they not see that this is no different from a religious person claiming they don't have evidence of god but you should just take their word for it?

I’ve mentioned this in other threads but I thought I’d post my further thoughts here too. I’ve noticed a very disturbing thing on YouTube. I’ve been watching a lot of YouTube videos by detransitioners speaking about their experiences. Merely mentioning their negative effects of transitioning triggers YouTube to share a link at the bottom of their videos about “conversion therapy”

Literally anything other than instant affirmation and promoting getting your breasts removed straight away is now considered “conversion therapy” It’s bizarre.

I think YouTube puts that up automatically for "detransition" in the title. I've seen videos get a link to debunk Flat Earth theory or moon landing denial, when the video just mentioned conspiracies in the first couple of minutes.

I really prefer this as a moderation tool, this and community notes on Twitter, instead of deletion or banning. If the site has to put something up there so they can feel self-righteous, or so they don't get angry emails, it still lets people share their opinions. It would be interesting to see data on how many people click away to suggested articles when one of those links pop up, or if viewers just note that this must be controversial.

Religion is also a great example of how people (and doctors!) spent centuries believing the most insane shit was literally true. Demonic possession, witchcraft, infinite punishment in hell, prayers for personal intervention by god, self-flagellation… all of it utterly delusional, and yet believed by huge swathes of the population across the world. So don’t believe a word of it when trans activists tell you their position is widely supported. People at large have a long sorry history of widely supporting bullshit. Doctors doubly so.

Never forget - some people still believe insane, ludicrous, delusional shit.

Admittedly, this is a little off-topic, since this is the 'Random Trans Thoughts' thread and not the 'Random Muslim Thoughts' thread, but I remember watching a television programme specifically targeted at a Muslim audience, that discussed the concept of 'djinn possession' with an entirely straight face. To me, as someone who grew up largely secular, the idea that people who are pretty obviously just mentally ill, might actually be possessed by invisible desert fire-demons, was risible, but here were British Muslims whole-heartedly endorsing the concept, because it was written about in the Qur'an, which was the infallible, perfect word of God that cannot be edited, rewritten or changed.

I don't keep up with this thread so forgive me if this has already been said, but I had to get this out and this seemed like the best place to do it.

For those who have watched the new Netflix miniseries "Baby Reindeer," I think that it has an absolutely amazing portrayal of your average MTF tranny, which clearly wasn't written to criticize trans people (it's based off a real person's experience) but perfectly illustrates many of the issues with them.

- Signs up for a trans-specific dating app, yet has an obvious issue with the thought of being fetishized

- Demands their cis male date define his sexuality for them, pushes when he doesn't want to, then tries to trick him into saying something transphobic/problematic like "I'm bi because I don't care that you look like a woman but have a penis"

- Gets physically attacked by a woman who rips hair out of the tranny's head, but tranny is more upset by the attacker saying "you look like a man!!"

- Claims to be educated in mental health matters (in this case the tranny is apparently a therapist), but automatically thinks that sexual dysfunction from a cis male partner is because of gender reasons and couldn't possibly be the result of him having trauma or a personal issue

- Cis male partner is the victim of an unhinged female stalker - tranny is so threatened by him receiving attention from a real woman (and the aforementioned sexual dysfunction) that they accuse their partner of loving the attention and getting off on it

- Tranny tries to make the stalking all about them, insists that it could cause career-threatening problems if the stalker starts commenting on Twitter that the tranny looks like a man, despite being openly trans and apparently posting about LGBT stuff all the time. When asked to delete/private their social media, the tranny takes this as an ultimate insult

- Tranny provides basically 0 real emotional support to their partner because they're so wrapped up in their own shit and desperate to always be the victim

Loathe as I am to reference a phrase from TV Tropes, but I think I experienced Fridge Horror, this morning. When something seems innocuous at the time, but becomes terrifying after the fact, when you think about it in more detail.

I just remembered that one of the earliest slogans in the trans bathroom debate was 'We just want to pee'.

And then I thought about how many troons online have piss fetishes and aren't even shy about admitting it. There was that tranny who was annoyed that TikTok wouldn't let him drink his own piss on their site (and had to content himself with drinking apple juice instead, because it looks like piss), there's that guy who wouldn't stop tweeting at J.K. Rowling about his fetish for pissing on people's graves, there was that trans protest where they poured bottles of piss over themselves, even tranny YouTubers like Sophie From Mars - people who put themselves in the public eye, not just random perverts on Twitter - who brag about drinking piss and having piss fetishes.

We never should have let these fucking perverts into the women's bathrooms.

mark your territory

Oh shit, you fucking nailed it!

That's exactly what that whole bathroom debate was and is. Animals (in fact, specifically, MALE animals) spray their piss everywhere to mark their territory, to let people know that they've moved in. That this is their's now. Think about those fucking 'A Trans Woman Peed Here and No One Was Hurt' stickers they stick up sometimes in women's toilets. That's a statement of conquest masquerading as a protestation of innocence.

Something I wonder. For decades, trannies were this rare thing that you never even had to think about. You might meet one or two in your life. Mostly they were just there in the background.

Now there’s a full backlash against troons, the legal loopholes are being closed and everyone has an opinion.

I wonder what it’s like for those old-school trannies, knowing that a bunch of kids on Discord fucked it all up for them.

Brianna Wu is one of the older troons on the web and his most recent controversy is from mildly stating that the transgender party behavior is currently fucking with transgender rights and people have been flipping the fuck out on him for it. He's on the cusp of old school/new school as he still tries to not say publically that he is trans and supressed it hard in the past, but has most of the current progressive politics. It's hilarious to watch twitter chimp out at Old John for his views since he kept his transness private so long some of them think he's cis lmao.

I imagine for the less online and image focused old school trans people, there's some genuine resentment.

This is just something I've had on my mind for awhile so I apologize for the rambling. Only place I can openly talk about this and not get shunned for not having the Right Opinion. Power leveling a bit too but context is needed.

I grew up with an aunt who was a tranny, and we called her Aunt Bean, she was a long time friend of my mum's. Don't know what her legal name is/was, never learned it, never cared too, she was just Bean to us kids. She was a homosexual transexual. Male to Female. She was, all of my life, a wonderful person and one of the few people I was close to growing up. She even helped me come to terms with my own sexuality once I realized I liked girls. She was a kind hearted, soft spoken, gentle soul with a heart of gold. A person who would give you the shirt off her back, and the last ten dollars in her wallet if you needed it. Seriously, she was an honest to god angel and I never heard a bad thing about her from anyone. Except for the fact she was a cross dressing fag but that's a given. She died of heart complications when I was a teenager. Don't know where she is now, her (adopted) son and her partner (husband) took her ashes and moved out of state. Rest in Peace, Bean, where ever you are.

But god she set the bar so high for me when it comes to trannies and how they should act and how much effort they should put into passing.

Seriously. She dressed appropriately for a woman of her age + with the fashion of the time period. Took the time to get all of her clothing tailored, fitted, and flattering to her figure. Wore a bit of padding to help give herself the illusion of a feminine shape. Professionally had her colours checked to see what complimented her hair/skin/eye colours. She had a personal stylist that came to her house to do her hair, also styled to fit with the times, same for her nail tech. She took private cosmetology lessons just so she could do her own makeup and do it so she looked "natural" as possible. Hell she took lessons from my own nana on how to walk, talk, and act like a lady, Al La Emily Post Etiquette. (In her own words she didn't want to intrude on "Lady Only" spaces so she learned it on her own time and in private.)

She went above and beyond with her effort to actually integrate into feminine society as much as she could without being offensive to female sensibilities. Never intruded on women's only spaces like bathrooms or changing rooms. She understood her own discomfort in her own skin did not trump the fear and discomfort women had around her as a biological male. She also never got upset when people correctly sexed her. Simply kept her head down and kept to herself, and never made a stink about anything. Granted, Bean was a lucky ass twink who stood 5'10 and had a counter-tenor voice so she could realistically pass as a very masculine woman, if she wasn't standing next to the rest of the women in our family. But. She did her upmost best to blend in, live quietly as possible, and not kick up a fuss at all. She just wanted to live her life quietly as a woman and raise my cousin with her husband. My respect for her and her life choices comes from her being a good person more than anything else. She was, at the end of the day, a decent human being and I loved her dearly as an aunt. I can respect people like her who are doing their best to be good people and put the effort in.

So it very frankly pisses me the fuck off that these new age genderspecials, with their fucking lazy ass "I'm a sex doll Barbie looking bitch but I demand you call me a dood." Or the Giant Ass Fridge Shaped Linebacker Hons in a skirt, get all these fucking ass pats for not putting in a lick of effort. Whilst also being demanding, psychopathic, narcissistic, mentally retarded fuckwits who throw a tantrum if you don't immediately correctly gender them, and threaten your entire existence for a minor faux pas that can happen to anyone. I hate them more than anything and they have my disgust, not my respect. I'm not demanding that people mutilate or drug themselves to fit into the mold either, my aunt never had drugs or surgeries, but for the love of god, put some fucking effort into it and be decent fucking people. It's honestly not that fucking hard to just be a decent person. Fuck these trannyfaggots entirely.

These fuckers are spitting on the memory of people like my aunt. People who dealt with their body dysphoria quietly and did not make it other people's problems, and kept to themselves, out of the way, and did not make a stink at all. Now it's everyone's problem and I hate them for it. Though, knowing my aunt, if she was alive today to see the pendulum about to swing back, she would say: "Deserves you all right for being a cunt."

God I miss my aunt. It's been a decade, but I miss her a lot.

I apologize for the seething and malding, but I had to get this off my chest. I'm just frustrated and upset about how things are going in the world. I am trying to remain optimistic but it's really hard at the end of the day.

Idk why it won't let me quote but RIP to "aunt" Bean. If we had more troons like them the world would be a very different place right now.
If my brother had been this type of troon, there's no way I'd be posting here right now. I'd always wanted a sister, or even a feminine gay brother, but got what I got instead. Such is life, I suppose.

Yeah Bean was an introverted sort of person and really did not want attention on her in any sense of the word. She knew she had her problems but she legit was so very private about everything as not to make her existence a problem to others. It's why I felt comfortable divulging I was into girls to her before I told my mum and dad. In hindsight, I do realize they were fully supportive of me liking girls, and they knew cause I was an obvious little spergling, but hindsights 20/20 y'know? I realize my fears as a child/teen were silly.

Sorry for your Brick Hon Skirty Spinny Troon Bro though. I have three brothers and thankfully none of them are coomers, troons, or anything like that. All three of them grew up to be pretty conservative, stereotypical dudes who have blue collar jobs and varied interests with male friends. Hopefully he realizes he's an idiot before it's too late to turn back. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst, as it were. Good luck and god speed with your Bro-Troon. Troonbro? Tromboner?

Instead of tumblr I bring reddit. Stupidpol, aka the one good leftist sub, reacts to the NHS saying sex > gender.

I have posted about how frustrating it is that socialists have largely bought in to gender woo woo, nice to know there is at least some pushback.

Scientology does this too, there's the fake beliefs they sell outsiders, and the real beliefs you don't learn about until you have invested enough time and money into the cult to feel you can't leave.

Stupidpol isn't really a radfem sub, it's very male dominated, but they seem to have come to a lot of the same conclusions as tumblr radfems. Even though I'm sure they would disagree on literally anything else gender related. There's more good comments here, people are fed up with having to deal with gender nonsense.

Man, seeing people lay it out so clearly is a breath of fresh air. It's good to see the gametes and SRY gene definitions raised more often, too.

Perhaps a bit off-topic but,

Shit like this especially makes me really annoyed with the tranny ''script'' that's engrained into all of them. Titty skittles don't suddenly give you full enlightenment on all things biology, they're just armed with retorts that don't engage with the conversation at all. Usually these retorts are injected with some reddit autist humor and in typical redditor fashion they don't realise that a joke loses its zing when it's repeated a lot. Responses like ''chromosomes don't make sex, look at all these intersex people!'' or ''if gender is what's in your pants, then my gender is buttplug!! lol!!!'' fail to adequately engage with some of the more insightful talking points. This is probably something they've developed because the other ''side'' follows a script as well (usually uninformed conservatives), and I suppose it works decently well for that since both sides run out of steam once the script finishes, but it completely falls apart and makes them look retarded when someone produces well-informed and well-constructed arguments against transgenderism. It also obliterates any potential for compromise or reason.

''Y'know, it's kinda irksome to constantly have to worry about addressing someone with the right pronouns. You should look like whatever you wanna be addressed as and just roll with the punches if you don't."
''If yOu THinK PRonOUns ArE ConFUsiNG JusT WaIt unTIl yoU LEaRN AboUT veRBs!!"

(Actual conversation I've seen play out many times)

More and more people are peaking. More and more are becoming transphobic. More are detransitioning. It makes me so happy.

This is why you have to have faith in humanity. People act like tranness is an example why "humanity is terrible" but trans nonsense is literally an example of what happens when people have zero faith in humanity.

Lack of faith is dangerous. Faith is what makes us human. Faith isn't about religion. I mean hell, people think shows like Moral Orel were about mocking the religion but really it was about not having actual faith. A lot of people cling to religion the same reason people cling onto trans idealogy. They want to believe, they wanna buy something or be apart of a community that makes them believe in something. They hate their lives, they hate existing, they hate humanity. But with certain religions and ideas, they can escape. They can have an excuse and feel morally superior ontop of that.

Good will always win. We wouldn't be talking on here if good didn't overpower evil. You would be a slave or worse. You have to stand up to whats right in this world and act in good faith if you ever wanna be happy. And doing so isn't about being meek and a push over, it takes geninue courage. It takes stepping on toes. It takes risks.
