I really respect how Mike has never backed down from his crazy moments
This is completely false, Mike has tried to hide all of his embarrassing videos and comics from the internet for a very long time. It was only when he realized it was a losing battle and these things were on the internet forever that he stopped backing down

or his infamous 10-incher incident
Keep in mind the "ten incher" picture was actually some gay pornstar's that Mike took credit for for years.

Sources for that? If so then it's still better than James doubling down forever on every mistake he makes even down to his stupid mega button shirt and weird hairline.

That was an obvious shitpost by a guy who was fucked up on something that night and was pretty funny considering it was on an "official" reddit. I'm not a crusader for MF Mike or anything, in fact I used to think he was annoying as shit for years, but I have come to appreciate him. Most of the shit that gets slung at him seems to come from retards with no sense of humor. In comparison, most of the shit that gets slung at James seems to come from retards WITH a sense of humor. (like me)

The AVGN stood for as long as could but the foundations really seem to be wearing off at a faster rate. For something that lived on as long as it could, it was only a matter of time before it fails completely and nobody becomes interested in it anymore. James Rolfe showed signs of this for awhile where his behavior in bad life choices and it comes to the point where it's really starting to take a toll on him and people including the autistic diehard fans are just completely uninterested in him anymore. The reasonable option could be to end the show however considering the reputation of James Rolfe, finding a different position seems pretty unfeasible for him.

Almost two weeks later and this is James' biggest flop

He's a retard, but not for that reason. Some people are able to play that way successfully. Dick Dale learnt to play that way and when he got a left-handed Stratocaster, he restrung it with the strings in the same order as an upside-down right-handed guitar:
Albert King did the same as Dick Dale on a left-handed Flying V (he originally played a right handed one upside-down):
Elizabeth Cotten played bass octaves with her fingers and the melody with her thumb:
Seal is not really a guitarist, but when he strums one he does it upside-down:
There are three ways for left-handers to play a guitar (upside-down, reversing the strings, or being left-handed but playing right-handed), and everybody has to choose the way that works best for themselves rather than being forced to fit a preconceived notion.

Anyway, the Rex Viper band members put their names and social media links in the description of this video (wouldn't archive for me for some reason). The bald(er than James) guy is a "pixel artist", and the upside-down guitarist has a YouTube channel with a long history of "bing bing wahoo but it's metal lolrandom!". Three out of the six of the band are called James.
>posts 3 examples of left handed guitarists playing upside down guitars
>posts fucking Seal as an example
>no fucking Jimi Hendrix

Mike also abused the DMCA system on Youtube using it to strike down people who had reuploaded mineycrafta and the Elmo review. Even actual transformative content that was protected under fair use like Youtube poops he would strike. He only started becoming cool about the Minecrafta stuff when the meme became so popular (largely thanks to oneyplays) that he realized he couldn't possibly removed it from the internet and decided to just embrace it. He was gay about it for years and years.

At least he DID get over it. I never understood why he was so gay about it (it's not like he's ever had a reputation that would be tarnished by his random edgelord crap) but I guess I just find him more palatable than James these days.

I didn't know about the DMCA crap. Loco Bandito and his proxy 10-incher make me laugh, Elmo and brown bricks are just...weird, but whatever. Only faggots use the DMCA system though.

Fake news. Everyone knows Mike has a ten incher.

The gigachad move would have moved into interviewing and research why exactly all those shitty games turned out to be so shitty. Invite the people who developed ghostbusters and actually ask them wtf where they thinking.

But nope, just keep turning out the kind of video of through the heavily jewed lens of 2024 Youtube.
I feel like that's where he was going a few years ago with his videos since at least one review had James read an email from one of the devs explaining how making the game was a shitshow. And Toxic Crusaders too for that matter.

I procrastinated for weeks about watching this. I wish I had kept procrastinating. It's so painfully bad it's more alarming to me than some bizarre shitpost game.

My favorite part about AVGN is that my standard for "bad episode" keeps getting lower and lower. To think a long time ago I thought the second Bugs Bunny episode or How the Grinch Stole Christmas were bad AVGN episodes. I wish he'd do a season of episodes like that now. I'm sure if I watched nowadays "bad" episodes like that Christmas episode about that LJN peripheral he did with that painfully unfunny guy or most of 2021's shit they'd be funnier than this.

You're not referring to the Sega Activator & Co episode he did with Nathan Barnatt are you? Because that is literally the best episode of the AVGN series.
It was one of the worst episodes before the zombie era began. The biggest crime is that there's no semi-serious reviews of the actual products because knowing if the boxing game or that autistic vest thing where you feel the action would have been genuinely interesting. But nope. Alas. Squandered over unfunny pratfall nonsense. And I like Nathan too but it's a bad video.

It's just slapstick humor which, to be fair, isn't something The Nerd is known for and that's definitely more of a Nathan thing. I can see how it doesn't fit, but it still made me laugh the hardest. To this day I still say "we're really chuggin' some gigabytes" whenever I ask a computer to do something really work intense.
