If it wasn't Miles DF I'd feel sad. You're basically purchasing character rights at that price. Too low and some spurge will post a video of 'm takin a shit on a plate and run the risk of it being misidentified with the original owner. That price is way too high to really justify anything. I'd keep it at that price though until it sold, because I'm a stubborn fuck.

I get that and Id agree that the price should be higher then the original purchase price as well mainly because the build times and amount of exit scams.

But at that price you could buy at minimum 5 of these custom built. And it also goes both ways if the person you bought from gets deemed a piece of shit after the fact you can be identified as them.

The price is based on position and how much of the character is drawn. The 285 are the 2d representation of the nose bleed section at a concert, basically paying to be a background actor rather than getting paid as a background actor. Also it is a YCH, you can buy/bid on positions.
