Yeah, the political right shouldn't push back. It just makes us lose bad and angers our enemies even further when we resist. We should lose with dignity, and when people see how honorable we are, they will naturally be attracted to our side.
Push back against what?

All I am seeing is trying to stop the leftist civil war, gibs to Israel, no bill to stop open borders, no will to change the institutions and shitting on the 1A.

And also not freeing Orange Man from his doodoo in Jew York.

a historical fact according to the bible will be deemed as a hate crime according to this bill. Expect mass arrests over this.
you can't use this historical event to criticize israel or israelis doesn't equal you can't talk about this event at all. It's a pretty tortured reading. Should die in senate regardless, its a clear violation of the first amendment

So they finally made their play to kill Christianity once and for all. Claiming that the jews killed jesus, a historical fact according to the bible will be deemed as a hate crime according to this bill. Expect mass arrests over this.

I know we have some law niggas around here who are smarter than me.
Is this law even enforceable under the US Constitution, is there precedent for speech itself being a hate crime, and, more importantly, would the justice system just not give a fuck about 1A and fuck with people anyways because joos?
Because based on my very limited knowledge here, this is blatantly contrary to Free Speech as enshrined in the Constitution, unless the argument is that no matter what it’s incitement to violence.

I'll criticize whatever I goddamn well please however I goddamn well please and anybody who has a problem with that can get the fuck out of the USA

Yes.
The government is violating Bantam with its title 7 "hostile work environment" provisions in the civil rights act, punishing any company that doesn't fire you for saying "nigger" at work with the corporate death penalty.

Should die in senate regardless
HAHA you think Mitt Romney and Chuck Schumer care about your rights.

Someone would have to be arrested for violating it. The FBI will enforce the law until it is not the law. Any police officer would and should do this, it would be treacherous to not obey the law as an officer of the law. The unfortunate person would have to appeal a conviction in a federal court. They would have to appeal several times to get to the Supreme Court. I think there is some extraordinary process by which the supreme court could take the case quickly. By that point, the pallies, inshallah, will all be fucking dead

In this case it will be either fired (if academic faculty or government employee) or expelled (if student)
That is something to note. It only applies to colleges as of now. So shitposting is still on the menu. But the slippery slope is fucking real.

I can criticise Isreal for never taking responsibility for Jesus's death every single day of the week old son. That's what they mean because it's fucking true. Unless you're gonna say you have and you worship Christ as the Messiah, that means you haven't. Fuck you.

It applies to anti-discrimination law.
So it could reach into corporate board rooms with an overzealous civil rights office, like one that tries to throw people into prison for praying in front of abortion clinics.

"The bill would mandate that when the Department of Education enforces federal anti-discrimination laws it uses a definition of antisemitism put forward by the International Holocaust Remembrance Alliance."

For now no. It's strictly under the department of education.

The people passing this bill, along with their "evangelical" supporters will go to hell as heretics anyway. The Jews, too, for killing Christ. Simple as, from the catholic perspective.
The likes of Luther and Calvin have a better chance of being in Heaven than the traitors on Capitol Hill and Jew-loving Evangelicals.

For now. They're going to use this everywhere, and they're going to focus most of it on rightists.

There are a whole lot of christian colleges and private schools they want to 'modernize' by force. Once they have capture those magically it will apply to churches in general. After which point they won and christianity will have always been about being subservient to jews.

is that humans genuinely treat the news like they treat cartoons. most either don't care about bugs bunny or won't ask "why does this contradict what happened last episode." The people in power can give the flimsiest excuse and the plebs will buy it because critical thinking skills aren't required for most humans whereas doing what youre told certainly is.

It really is becoming ever apparent that this is the case. I knew this long ago but I don't think I fully understood it until recent years. I remember when I first became more politically minded around the Iraq war. It was apparent to me it was all bullshit and lies. None of it made any sense. Yet so many people listened to the story, and uncritically believed it. While I would argue and understand they really just had beliefs. I don't think I realised they were just tuned into a story the "authority" had told them. That's how they view the world.

It's a story they superficially follow and are just in the current point. It doesn't matter if the story makes no sense, contradicts itself, or has plot holes. They're just at the current point. This is the case with so many issues. Look at the gender nonsense. Anyone I know who is into it can't discuss it, it's not an opinion based on anything real. It's just what they're told to think. I know someone who teaches it at college and she talks about how frustrating it is that mainly male students don't just accept it and keep asking questions. It literally is, just shut up and go along with it. Not trying to explain and educate. The educate is, here's the story, go along with it.

It's like that with everything now. I always find fascinating how people like to frame people they disagree with as a reflection of how they think. The classic example is religious people who deny evolution claiming people who adhere to the theory as following Darwin's On Origin of Species as if it's a holy book proclaiming evolution as truth. As opposed to understanding the scientific method and how they came to that conclusion from many different sources. To someone who follows a bible as truth, they only can process others as doing the same. Not that they have a completely different way of understanding the world.

We see it with so many things now. I see so much framing of the anti-war movements at the moment as people who don't know anything. It's a trend. They're been tricked by Russian bots. There's no recognition that people can actually look at the situation and conclude something different. As the people saying this aren't actually coming to an opinion. They're just following the story the "authority" is telling them.
