I saw MATI, and I WEEPED at the tragedy of Australian Indian man, how he has no friends, smelled like shit, but is totally fine and not a manchild for exploding at people while playing games. Truly an inspiring tale. My only regret was that the Indian accent section was a bit shorter than I would have liked. Josh's Indina accent singlehandedly made me care about the Chantal segments and my favorite mock Indian segment is the tunnel tranny creepy pasta with the pajeet in the house (does anybody have that clipped?). As for the spicy topic of Korean titty game. Josh, the reason why everybody is shitting themselves in rage is because this game has been "their pwn the libs" moment. The game has been known for a long time, has been clearly seen pandering to the diametrical opposite of the sjw crowd and was a triple A production which in the west and a chunk of the east has seemed to become allergic to pandering to them. This was the turning point where Korean titty game would sell gang busters and teach the mean faggots that they are the core demographic they should care about.
And at the final second they "caved", yes, looking at it, the changes are mostly minimal and honestly, most of the costumes look trashy as fuck before and after the edits. But it's the "it was my WIN" moment getting tarnished by it, it's Trump tweeting Gamergate but adding "not the best of optics" at the end of the tweet. It was going to be their first true strike. One could argue that if the game sells gangbusters it still gives the message of "give me more of that instead of the faggot shit you are peddling in Spiderman 2" and for the most part they would be right, but it still stings. Also, the ol "never give an inch", I'm a lot more pissed with localizations taking their liberties for example than this but I can see why they would be annoyed at something being changed last second (and there is nothing more last second than forced day 1 patch) against what they were expecting, that it happened to be smut just paints a very specific picture, but I think it would have been the same for any other sort of localization change deemed to be done to comply with "modern western sensibilities".
There are also a couple of extra notes, remember when you said "the nips will go 'crazy westerners want ugly characters'", well, not exactly, turns out the gaming division of Sony is for the most part directed by California now and all game pitches need to be sent in English now which baffles the Japanese studios. I imagine that getting the Korean titty game as an exclusive was the Japanese side of the business going "we need fucking money!", but it certainly seems like the western side has a lot of power compared to the east.

Basically, Sony wants the money from the horny people, but they are believers in the "message" so the blitz I see is that they required some reduction of the smut and had the spin doctors marking it as "safe horny" after a secondary character seemed like a more standard girlboss. Because at the end of the day, everybody in the discussion is a coomer in some form or another, it's just that ones are not allowed to be honest about it till it comes from above. So Sony seems to be trying to play both sides and I'd say it will succeed for the most part.

I am 100% in agreement with you, faggy little petitions achieve nothing and I find it hilarious that anybody still proposes anything like that after what has transpired the last few years.
