Oh for sure. One of the problems of having everything in one huge thread is searching for specific images or videos can be really annoying. I did a meme edit of those "IN THIS HOUSE WE BELIEVE" signs and posted it and was unable to find it for literally months until someone reposted it.

Slightly off topic, but in one of your shows I thought you mentioned a wild A/V set up with VHS loops and whatnot. Can't find it now looking back. You should share some of that setup if you're willing.

There's a lot of different programs at this point, lol. Happy to share what I use while hopefully not powerleveling. I've never done a comprehensive list like this, so it's kind of fun for me.

General editing: Cyberlink Powerdirector. I'm sure it's not as effective as something like After Effects but the UI was very easy to use back when I didn't know what the hell I was doing. It was also easy to pirate at the time (as well as it's plugins).
Pixel stuff: I use the XP version of MSpaint zoomed in at 800% because I like the UI as well as the curved line tool. I'll then send it to Aseprite for animation. Aseprite's UI pisses me off a lot, but it's critical for faithfully upscaling pixel art.
The Amiga-looking dithering you saw in "Pet Peeves": Photoshop is insanely good at taking an image and sizing it down, reducing colors, and applying different kinds of dithering. If you go to File > "export for web (legacy)" you'll see the options there. When sizing down, I kept the width at around 300 pixels wide. I had originally followed a guide by the guy who made Hypnospace Outlaw, but he uses GIMP and frankly Photoshop will save you way more time. If you'd like more info, feel free to PM me.
VHS effects: HDMI to composite converter > an actual VCR > composite to HDMI capture card (elgato). I used to have a composite to USB capture device but the capture card can take in higher resolutions and frame rates.
Trippy analog effects: I won't go nuts here but I have a Panasonic wj-ave5 video mixer doing a feedback loop combined with a Sony Video Color Corrector xv-c700. I'll also use something a "dirty video mixer," there's cool youtube videos out there to show how it works.
90's looking CGI: Bryce3D. Fucking fascinating 3D software from the 90's that uses raytracing. Was my first 3D program, started using it maybe a couple years ago. Very beginner friendly, superb UI. The renders take forever though.
Modern CGI: Reallusion iClone & Character Creator. Hands down the best 3D software for beginners like me, the time-saving tools in there are absolutely unreal. The caveat is that they try to charge you for EVERYTHING. I can see why people don't use it unless they're my kind of cheapskates.

There might still be some weird one-off programs I forgot. If there's a specific effect/scene you're curious about, I can tell you all about it. I wanna avoid clogging up this thread with my fart huffing so DMs are welcome.

Man I have a work from home desk job and we have sprints (two week blocks of time where tickets of work are assigned to us). Literally nobody gives a shit what you do so long as the tickets you’re assigned at the start of the two week sprint done by the two week deadline and obviously you’re present for meetings and available on slack. When it’s slow I have spent so much time completely fucked off cobraverse shitposting it’s unreal. Literal days of watching YouTube and posting here while muted in meetings. Every start of a new sprint I look at what I got and I plan out when I’m gonna work on it and when I’m gonna do fuck all. Sometimes i feel guilty about spending a day doing literally zero work and getting paid to shitpost about an autistic man in Wyoming instead but y’know at the end of the day if all the work I’ve been assigned is done when it’s supposed to be (and done well) that’s the main thing right?

Correct. You're a knowledge worker, you deliver the outcomes and how you get there is your own business. You are not on a production line where you produce X widgets per year, week, day, hour, minute, second. However, management and workplace culture act still act as if you are so you must be careful to never reveal any non-work activities to anyone in the organisation.

That guy who employed other people to do all of his work, and the people who employed him, were 100% happy right up to the point that he let slip what he was doing. Never ruin a good thing.

I watched that video from after he'd moved out of the old apartment. Dude had freaking wood floors under that shitty carpet, a fireplace and three huge full-sized windows in the throne room, and the biggest shower/bathtub I have ever seen in any apartment. It was porcelain no less.

If they ripped out the Backrooms ceiling from the kitchen and replaced it with something nicer it'd look pretty good.

Its crazy when you start from the beginning and realise how much you forgot about Cobra. Like he has eaten his own cum, twice, at different points. Or when he blamed his dad for being in a car crash.
