no shit im enjoying more a busted ass old fat ps3 than i ever did the ps4 or ps5. scarface is a fucking gem of a game

I still have my PS3 in the basement and I plan on getting a PS1 and PS2 to go along with it. I have knowledge of a bunch of mods for both systems. The memory card that uses micro SD cards is a must. In fact, I should get one for my GameCube.

Surely this PSN debacle won't affect their Ghost of Tsushima PC sales? I know that has a multiplayer mode but it would be a truly retarded move by Sony if they were to force you to link your PSN account to play the single player too.

I was unironically gonna pick GoT up assuming the port wasn't ass, but after this debacle, I'm gonna give it a few months to see what kind of shit they get up to with it, and then I'll probably just pirate it anyways. Sony really speedrunning their rep into the dirt here lately.

Wait until you nigger cattle actually read the terms of service for PSN. Its rather horrific and I broke it down in this thread with some of their big hits.

Some highlights.

You give Sony an exclusive moderation right over you, to include the application of AI moderation software to insure compliance.

Failure to provide your real name and real address is a bannable offense. Sony at their discretion may require you to provide documentation to verify your identity. Failure to provide that documentation is a bannable offense.

You must comply with the code of conduct at all times. The Code of conduct is about what you would expect from a tech company in the current year.

If you are banned, at their discretion, Sony may also ban the accounts of your immediate family as well.

By accepting the terms of service you agree that any programs deployed on the PSN are the sole property of Sony and you are being given an unexclusive licence that may be revoked at any time, for any reason, at Sony's sole discretion.

You have no recourse under the law, and by signing the agreement you wave all your rights under all relevant statutes. If you have a problem you agree to binding arbitration.

But why though? You can go to Walmart right now, and buy a little google box, like onn., for less than $60 and get all the same features for a fraction of the price. You'd literally have to be retarded by a Playstation just for that.

What has come out to make it worth getting a PS5, Tekken 8? Part of me feels like the last time Sony and PlayStation could have had the gaming community by the balls in a good way was Ghost of Tsushima (if you wanna go by original IPs) or Devil May Cry V (if you wanna go by the established console icons).

Honestly I’d say that I haven’t really bothered with the hype of gaming since Ghost of Tsushima and MK11. TBH, I’d say the bigger things I’d be pursuing in the gaming sphere would be Football Manager on Steam, some old games on an Xbox 360
I bought before COVID, and MAYBE the Sniper Elite games (once I figure out the ones with X-Ray kills and categorize them from the ones that don’t).

Resellers count, they purchased these things and stocked up during lockdow, hoping there would be a rise on demand. They've all been caught with their pants down trying to get rid of them amidst the launch of the ""slim"" model.

If you lost money reselling Playstation 5's you were either robbed or waited until it was obvious the rush was over to start buying them. You could move 50 of them a month during peak covid.

My take based on the history of dev/community interaction is devs and ceo care, but their CMs are retarded and Sony is a millstone on their neck.

Most of the time, it is a quick revenue farming method, but in this case to Sony slowly becoming like the other gaming conglomerates, this is nothing special considering them making the worst fucking move in their entire history, it is like having your properties put on an auction with unfairly high pricing and a lot of shitty excuses on why retards must buy this unused property by bidding.
Considering Sony's history with censorship in the west and burning fuck ton of bridges, I expect they would never respond and double down like Bamco with Tekken or other corporative conglomerates trying the same old method of quick moneymaking.

PS5 is at best a glorified PS4 with an awful price, more spacing with just a port to start with, and shitty games that only makes the console not worth collecting because of its awkward design and big size that wants you to open some space for your coffee table or counter to put on display. Spider-Man 2 will never even lift the reason on why the PS5 even worth to buy or to play with.

In case you thought you hated Sony enough, a new update came out about Helldivers 2 on Steam. They are now requiring you to link a Playstation Network account to play Helldivers 2 on Steam. For extra hilarity, it was just announced yesterday that Helldivers 2 is the 7th highest grossing Sony published game in history but if they don't count the PC sales, it wouldn't even rank in the top 20.
