Is Null retarded? Everyone here is chimping out about some gaymer shit that no one who has ever seen a vagina in real life would ever care about, but on his last MATI he said that there was actual child porn in American Beauty because the actress that showed her tits was 16 in real life.

Does this nigga know that movie fiction and real life are different? A 5 second search on Wikipedia would show the actress was 18, or more likely 19, when it was shot. Why would Null say something so unbelievably trivial to verify?

His podcast every week has something blatantly wrong. Not just minor facts wrong but mixing up people’s names, getting facts completely wrong, etc. Maybe instead of blogging about 30 minutes about how a stand up comedian’s joke about sucking dick is “ewww. Gross” actually take 45 seconds of that time to do basic research?

My 2 cents on starlink / remote deskop:

I regularly deploy applications that require very low latency. One of my clients in a very rural area got starlink because the the local ISP only offered DSL. Bandwidth was very good compared to DSL, but latency was all over the place and ended up not being usable for the application. In the end, they ended up needing to keep both and route the latency sensitive application over DSL and everything else over starlink. I don't know what the specs on your current connection is, but it may not actually improve latency.

I also somewhat regularly deploy RDS servers, though I've never used a cloud PC thing. Presuming that they use RDP, there's nothing built in to transmit voice that I'm aware of, you'd need to voice call yourself with signal or something. Here's where the differences would be:

Currently you need to stream your PC, which requires high upload bandwidth, and you need good download bandwidth only while watching videos. Latency is basically just chat speed.

If you were to switch to a cloud PC, you would only need enough download bandwidth to view the remote PC, which is very low. You only need enough upload to control the PC (very close to nothing) and to transmit your voice (very little). Latency matters a whole lot more though: if you have bad latency, it'll lag the RDP session, and there's going to be a delay on your voice. Overall latency from the viewer side wouldn't be that different, because you're only adding the latency from cloudpc to rumble, but there'd be less latency between the desktop PC and rumble then there would be for the voice, so the timing between what we see and what we hear will be off. If you're trying to react to a video it'll be even worse: you'll see/hear the video the same time we do, then we have to wait for you to transmit to the PC and then to rumble before we hear it. I imagine it would be similar to watching the news when they're speaking to a remote reporter. Might be worth trying though.

You've got people mixed up. The actress people think you're talking about, Mena Suvari, was born in early '79. Filming started in late '98. She was almost 20 when her nude scene was filmed. She's the focus of Kevin Spacy's lust.

The other actress that showed tits was Thora Birch. She was born in '82. She was 16 at the time of filming and was topless in the film. She was the weird girl with big tits and looked older than Mena at the time. Her character was the one fooling around with weird guy that films the plastic bag floating around.

The actress is Mena Suvari who, according to Wikipedia, was born Feb 13 1979. American Beauty's script was written between June 1997 and Feb 1998 with filming occurring between Dec 14 1998 and Feb 1999. This would put her at 19 at the youngest. I would guess that she wouldn't make up a story like that so she most likely was 16, but there is some inconsistency with the principle dates of the movie and her age.

In either case I apologize for saying you were wrong when you were probably right, but also do more research. Love your site and appreciate what you do. Kthxbye.

Hes filming her through her bedroom window. She notices, then takes her top off. His dad barges into his room and starts kicking the shit out of him.

I didn't even realize she was underage, but I was about 12 when this came out so I just assumed everyone that looked older than me was an adult.
