I remember from a young age having a morbid fascinating with the third rail since the day my parents pointed it out to me at the train stop and said if I ever touched it I would die.

I feel like this is a conversation every kid gets at least once in their life. Either first hand, or second through the literal turn of phrase "Touching the third rail". If they do make it, I would be genuinely curious to know wtf they were thinking.
