The whole recent thing with Google was a massive break from prior trends where employees are not only allowed, but encouraged to engage in political activism. This trend is now changing. CEOs are finally cracking down due to the occupation of Gaza being in direct conflict with their business, as opposed to merely being a distraction.
By the C staff, who are not "afraid", they're of a like mind, and they were installed by the boards (controlled by people like Fink) because of this.

One thing I learned (through a timestamp in the comments, didn't watch the entire video,) is that YouTube no longer offers API to get the real dislike counter.
Assuming there's a strong correlation with people who like to participate in a "dislike mob" (supposed reason why YouTube removed dislikes, ironically enough) and people who have the extension, there's a severe selection bias for all those YouTube "ratios" showcased around the internet.
