I have the same sentiment with the Helldivers' developer and the Stellar Blade developer. You made a deal with Sony, you dumb fucks. Don't make deals with Sony.

Sony own the Helldivers IP, and have since the first game, which was released, like, a decade ago. They had no choice but to work with Sony. Shift Up, the company behind Stellar Blade, have no such excuse.
Nintendo systems are always underpowered
And its literally irrelevant. Have you paid attention to the game industry over the past seven years? Nintendo dominate both console and game sales in every market, and practically own Japan. Its not even close. They are the dominators of video games, not the two "loss losers".
That will leave Sony as a monopoly for high-end graphics in a console (you can't say nintendo's market is the same as XBOX/PS)
They are effectively the same at this point. They play many of the same games, with only exclusives separating them (which Nintendo has more of). The Switch is underpowered, but the Switch 2 should vastly close that gap and make it irrelevant. At that point, there will be no reason to buy a Playstation over a Switch.
A lot of people buy consoles just to play free to play games when they have some spare time outside of other life commitments. If that’s all you want to do consoles make sense since they are usually cheaper upfront and the locked down nature means theres less to setup and configure. Right now the most popular games on PlayStation in my region are FC Football, Fortnite, NBA 2K, Warzone, APEX, Genshin, Overwatch 2. Helldivers 2 isn’t even in the top 10.
And guess what? If you want to play those free to play games, you can play most of them on Switch, including Fortnight, Genshin, and Minecraft, further destroying any need to buy a Playstation for anything. In fact, in the Game Censorship thread, someone recently posted a chart of the most played games across all platforms (including PC) in the U.K., and guess what topped every list? Fortnite. Minecraft also appeared on every list. If Fortnite or Minecraft and their ilk are all you play, then a Switch will serve you just fine, be cheaper to buy, and you will be in good company for online play because almost everybody else owns one. There is literally no reason to pay for a Playstation or an Xbox.
yeah, that's what you see with the adoption rate etc., but there will always be a market for consoles because that's what some people want.
But despite everything you've said on the subject, the PC market has grown exponentially, even in Japan, where PC gaming was historically non-existent. Now, its actually becoming an increasing part of Japanese gaming culture. If Steam released a better Steambox today, they'd completely undersell Sony and Microsoft. But even if they don't, the Switch already is, as its sales prove, and the PC gaming itself still exists for those willing to invest or looking for the best possible performance. Sony and Microsoft are already getting squeezed from both ends, and are being further undermined by their continuing latching on to the previous generation consoles. In past generations, the previous gen would have already been relegated to the dustbin of history, but sales for the current gen consoles are so poor, and the buy-in so small, that Sony and Microsoft are afraid to cut the cord entirely for fear of alienating their remaining consumers. And game sales are still not where they want them, as proven by both companies releasing games on PC to try to further increase sales figures.
