Isn't it pretty sexist to consciously (I assume) go for an all female set of directors? When a show's staff is predominately male, it normally comes down to there being more men available than women and maybe some unconscious bias, but this seems very deliberate. Plus, it's a move that serves politics more than the quality of the show, which is always bad.View attachment 146902
I kinda wish that people would realise just because it's an all female this or that doesn't mean it'll be good.
I guess the logic is that they have to sort of "over-correct" to level the playing field for women, but I don't see how a few people who are already pretty well off getting hired based on politics and the potential resentment this decision will create will help women or advance society in the long run.
