So this entire article is talking about Rainfurrest 2015, which is just short of being nine years old (as of this writing). Don't get me wrong, it was probably one of the most degenerate events, but this event has been beaten to death in everyone's head, largely due to this excellent video made by Internet Historian:

This Daily Mail article is essentially just copying/pasting the script from that video and rewording it enough so that it's not immediately obvious they copied it word for word. I am in awe at how being a journalist requires no effort nowadays. It's a shitty article even by Daily Mail standards, because most of the photos are just screengrabs taken from the IH video.

Artists are one of the most greedy and temperamental bunch of fucking losers you can possibly meet.
You've sold the property, the owner can do whatever they want to do with it. You cannot backtrack on the transaction just because they tried selling it for a higher price.
If you are feeling that you are entitled to earn some percentage off of the price hike (spoiler: you're not, even if you own the authorship rights of the character),how about you contact the seller directly, instead of being a dramacow?

What's worse is that these motherfuckers are one power trip away from taking away what you've purchased.
I've seen one of the autistic furfags lose their rights to their sparkle dog telegram NFTs stickers just because the artist felt it was adequate to delete them "for breach of contract", the breach of contract being cancelled on Twitter.

And God fucking help you if they have a brain fart and come up with something absolutely fucking stupid against you, because furry fandom will just suck up to them and shame you into compliance, just to satisfy their autism – no matter how stupid or wrong their demands are.

What Al said, trendhopping. Quarantine was also a big one. Omce trapped inside with themselves huge swathes of people realised they had no personality or sense of self and relied on others so they urgently tried to join no vommunities and find a reason why they seemed to lack any personality and personhood. Trannies jump on this of course claiming it's gender dysphoria and not just someone being a literal NPC with no inner self.

Not necessarily high profile ones, but over the last six months I've seen several revert to their original pronouns and cease HRT. The biggest one is probably that pedophile Dogsmith/Inusama, who used being a tranny to deflect from him being accountable about admitting to being attracted to teenagers.
