I had a hard time understanding it for awhile, The heart of it is to drop any notion of rationality or consistency. His entire movement is based on being a vibe session. Its all emotional and fluid about what makes people feel good in this group at the moment. His use of vague terms and enemies allow people to project their own grievances onto what he is saying and form those in group connections with other people in the movement.
I would say a lot. most of his fan based are in their 50s or above (since younger people usually more liberal). since lead paint was "officially" banned in the late 1960s and lead in gas was banned sometime in the 70s, I would say most of them have been exposed to high levels of lead during their development. hell, the government is finally spending money on replacing lead pipes (which his supporters are upset about). I swear these people love poison.
