Most importantly, make sure that people still have their rights. Because if you take people's god given rights, the next group that comes to power after you will keep em. Most likely the same people who you aimed to take out in the first place. Look at places with dictatorships in the last 100-150 years. Most of them, if not all, are lefty controlled now and never gave back people's god given rights.
I'm not sure how a dictatorship would work while keeping the constitution. A new one would have to be written most likely. If at all. People's rights will be thrown away in the name of protecting the power of the party in power.

That's asinine. The Left exists in a constant state of revolution. As you alluded, they only know how to critique and destroy.
To say they forgot how to fight a culture war is utterly retarded. They have 24/7 news cycles, the Hollywood machine, countless NGOs who each have millions of dollars at their disposal, the entire advertising industry, almost all relevant social media platforms, and even a portion of the church on their side, and they use all of these resources constantly. They had their ideology forcing companies to comply and support or they wouldn't get funding. I'm probably leaving out some of their resources because they are so vast and all-encompassing.
Their problem isn't forgetting how to fight a culture war, it's a combination of factors.
They have lost touch with regular people and instead of doing any kind of pivoting or making concessions, they are trying to force it on everyone, which has lead to infighting.
Their own progressive monster is turning on them because they aren't revolutionary enough.
They haven't forgotten shit. They're just incompetent and impatient.

I agree with #2 but the first one has the mistaken notion that these people have an accurate view of reality. They don't, at all.
They truly believe they are still the counterculture because they live in a parallel reality where all of the information they consume accuses their opposition of the things they're most guilty of. In their minds, when grievances are brought up, they simply say/think, "Nuh uh, my news says that it's actually you who does that." and do absolutely no reflection whatsoever.
The 2 parties (on a societal level) interact in the exact same way that the "gradually I began to hate them" excerpt from Mein Kampf reads.
At that time I was still naive enough to try to make clear to them the madness of their ideas; in my small circle I talked until my tongue was weary and till my throat was hoarse, and I thought I could succeed in convincing them of the destructiveness of their Marxist doctrine of irrationality; but the result was contrary.
It seemed as though the increasing realization of the destructive influence of Social Democratic theories would serve only to strengthen their determination.
The more I argued with them, the more I got to know their dialectics.
First they counted on the ignorance of their adversary; then, when there was no way out, they themselves pretended stupidity. If all this was of no avail, they refused to understand or they changed the subject
when driven into a corner; they brought up truisms, but they immediately transferred their acceptance to quite
different subjects, and, if attacked again, they gave way and pretended to know nothing exactly.

They still think it's the 60s and they're protesting the Vietnam War and Richard Nixon and some other nonsense, or that they're still marching with the Civil Rights movement or some nonsense. They don't have the slightest conception that they are in power now, that they control the levers of power now and we're pretty much dealing with the fallout of most of the stuff they advocated for being wrong

I think it's a little different between Boomers and younger people.
Boomers are so fucking self-absorbed that they're stuck in the past because they feel like they were the ones who pushed the final domino to enact the "end of history" (in the Whig view of history) with Civil Rights.
The younger generations are born into this false reality like it's The Matrix.
To some degree, Boomers were born into it too, but I believe they have more culpability, and thus are more reprehensible than idiotic kids and young adults.
I think the Boomers don't conceive of the fact that they're in charge because the future they were promised hasn't happened (like you're saying), and so many of them are childish and naive. They will die believing that selling out their children's birth rights was noble and virtuous.
