Much as it would be funny as shit, I think it might be "genuine" this time around. At least, Lizzy does see Jerry in a positive light where she shouldn't. Remember that she was a smitten fangirl of Jerry before they hooked up, her jerking him off every hour of the day wouldn't be surprising in in the slightest. And even still, remember what Xian-Russel said.

It's intoxicating to look at things from a black/white perspective, and Jerry probably gave her the hook to be pulled in. People struggle maintaining a middle ground because being wrong makes most people uncomfortable. It's hard to want to hear what you don't want to hear, and Jerry's brand of Social Justice basically strips away all the human nuance of political and social discussion and turns it into "Everyone is evil except for me."

Jerry probably told Lizzy everything she wanted to hear, then manipulated her opinions of the world with his biased, warped, fucked-up perspective on how society works. I didn't get a chance to screenshot this, and I curse myself for not being quick on the draw, but a few months ago Lizzy put up a post how she antagonized a young man on the streets who complimented/catcalled her. She then describes how she was paranoid the entire day that the guy would come back and beat and rape her and that she was traumatized from the experience despite the interaction between her and the "perpetrator" being absolutely mundane and minimal.

I have no doubts in my mind that she never had these thoughts before Jerry spooned them into her brain. But she decided her idol worship of Jerry was "intellect" and just traded on sheep-herder for another. When she was anti-social justice, she probably just nodded at everything she heard and read unquestioningly. The only thing that's changed is her prescription and the second she steps out of line, she's going to get bit by Jerry.

It's unfortunate, but it's what happens to sheep.
