My breakdown of why that forum post is so wrong:
-Twitch does have ads, wtf is he smoking?
-Wow, you mean...THANKING people who give you money? That they don't in any way owe you? How terrible that must be. Really.
-And yes, people will watch that. Plenty of popular streamers (not necessarily Pew Die Pie or Markiplier levels of popularity) thank their subscribers and donaters. Have thousands of fans. Because throwing out a quick thank you, or hell, even saying thank you at the end of the stream to everyone who donated.
-Things like fancy emotes and events...you mean, things that would make more people want to subscribe to you? I know it's a novel concept, Phil, but you need to cater to your demographic. If people want these things, and they will bring you in more views, you do them. I mean, if you're a causal streamer that stuff doesn't matter, sure. But you're trying to make this a career. A business. Come on.
-Twitch chat can sometimes veer off and talk about things that aren't stream-related/go off on a tangent based on something that happened in the stream, but if you're getting paid for the views, who cares? Just goes to show this is as much about his ego as it is money. (Same on his forums...anytime anyone talks about a subject that isn't him, he closes the thread.) That said, a good streamer will engage their audience and keep them focused on the game. So once again, this comes back to Phil.
-Twitch might "not be a good place to stream" but that's where everyone goes. Very few people go to YouTube to watch video game streams vs going to Twitch. Refusing to go back to Twitch is hurting himself.

So many things one can say about this. Phil is such great person to work with when it comes to drama.
First of all he never stops talking about views, paymetons and the rest. So yes, what twitchers does he does to but worse. At least Twitch streamers are nice about it and usually a friendly bunch. Phil just sees you as someone to be milked.
Spoken about, seems he hit his lowered goal again. All after the begging, including that he might had to loan some money from his parents to pay for the mortgage. Yet strangely only a few days after he instagrammed that crab meal.
But isn't that the fun of watching Phil. And mostly his fans. The show never seems to end.

He's technically not a virgin. The one time he and Panda tried to have sex, he shoved it in her ass, she smacked him, and he went on a 20 minute rant about how it was a beginners trap. There's no clear instructions on which hole to use.

I kinda wish the whole DSP being gay for Rambo thing is true.

Being around Rambo however just made him feel even more ashamed and paranoid, so instead of dealing with these feelings and coming out, he moved across the country for his "business", in reality though, he's distanced himself as much as he can from the man he's not allowed to love.
It would also explain the whole masturbation incident. He can't get any sexual satisfaction from Panda because she's a girl. So he gets off by watching gay porn instead.

Could also explain his over the top reactions to seeing certain women (the most infamous example being MGS3's Eva) in his games, like he's trying to desperately prove that he's the straightest motherfucker on the Internet (even though it makes him look like a sexist mongoloid).

To back that up a little. I usually watches Northernlion (NL) and his NLSS so i will use it as a exemple.
- Northernlion don't accept donations, however his friend RockLeeSmile does and NL dont mind him thanking them on the stream, the donors usually leaves funny messages as well.
- He tries to thank every new subscriber to his channel.
- He uploads his entire NLSS show raw on YT afterwards, besides thanking subscribers he and his friends dont talk much about the game while playing, they can talk about things that happened to them, coming events, offend eachother, movies, music, food etc. and the videos gets 60 000+ views, so clearly people dont mind it.
- Personally i rather have one of NLs emotes that i can use all over Twitch, rather than getting a simple text thank you ones a month from DSP, if im lucky.
- I think NL takes about 3 dollars for a subscription and it's not forced or mandatory, how much money does DSP get from any of his viewers... they all watch his stream for free.
- DSP tends to attack people playing old games or the same game repeatedly and claim it doesn't bring in views, NL tends to play The Binding of Isaac on his streams, the original game came out 2011 and the latest update Rebirth came out 2014, yet NL tends to get 4 000+ per stream, roughly 10 times DSP.

I don't know why he alludes to Jim Sterling as someone who doesn't deserve/need the money they get from Patreon. Jim doesn't put ad's on his videos and Patreon is his main source of income.

Jim Sterling actually has some semblance of a reputation, as well. He even goes against the whole "people who play the same things over and over don't get views" mantra; he mostly plays and critiques shit games on Steam Greenlight and he has a pretty decent viewership and following on his videos.
