Sajam seems to remain friendly with the Nijis and says he has no interest in any vtuber drama, so it's more likely that Niji management heard about Doki being in the tournament and banned their talents from participating. Just another example of a Niji getting an opportunity and management squashing it.

One thing I wish Kirsche was able to get more info about is in regards to the directors comment that she could participate in other ways. It seems to me like he was saying she would be able to do meet and greets and stuff, just not the panel. However he didn't make it explicit. Still gay of them to block her from the panel but if she was able to do meet and greets and stuff like that it does lend some legitimacy to the "not a blacklisting" claim.

Kirsche has absolutely no obligation to keep that information secret. She had every right to come forward with what happened to her and what was told to her. Its entirely on OffKai for making that information known to a third party.

I... guess I'm happy for Lisa? She's a good egg, and it sucked that her corpo fell apart around her, and maybe this way she'll get some boosted exposure...
That being said, holy shit Idol is NOT the company for her, and I can't see this ending any way but disappointment and disaster. I'm not gonna be one of those idiots who say "pHaSe Or NoThInG" but christ it's like joining Niji right now, the company is falling apart and is probably gonna lose one of it's biggest draws (Yuko) real shortly in addition to Not-Yuko activly talking to ky0resu and encouraging her and I can't help but feel like Phase is going to be much less tolerant of collabing with Idol than no corpo... but who knows.
Again, hope it works out for her, but christ that's a bold pick.

The only non-coomtuber she has to work with in Idol is Rin, and the only reason Rin gets to stay Rin is because she quickscoped her subcount and got ahead of everyone else.

I sorta wish I knew what Lisa looks like, given that she sounds like a pure cinnamon bun but also might dress like a goth dork.
 
I really hope the best for Lisa, and most importantly hope her contract allows her to continue using the character if Idol does fucky wucky games. She fills a unique niche with her focus on music. It would be fun if she did album reviews since everyone else doing them (fantano, pitchfork) is utter shit.
