Sony hate thread

Been a weird couple of weeks for gaming. Sony and MS trying to outdo each other in a slamming-dick-in-car-door contest while Nintendo just casually announces that their next console is real and that there's also a Nintendo Direct next month.

I'm not sure if you are implying that they are going to reveal Switch 2 or not but, given that that same announcement said their conference would be laying out their slate of Switch releases for the second half of the year, I wouldn't expect any Switch 2 at the direct.

Nah, I know it's not going to be at the direct. It's just the balance of bad news/good news that amuses me.

It’s more so the fact that Playstation and Xbox’s futures are growing less and less certain while Nintendo just teased a successor to one of their all-time biggest systems. Kind of like a few weeks/months ago when Sony and Microsoft both said they might drop out of the console market followed by Nintendo saying they’re gonna keep doing what they always do because it’s their core business.

People kept trying to tell me Sony was smarter than trying to force PS+ on other platforms.

I'm not seeing it.
As retarded as making the psn mandatory, its not a new idea, EA and Ubisoft have origin and uplay mandatory on their games, they do this to get the 30% on their system compared to Steam, which is a lot and executive bonuses are tied to this, difference is that unlike the psn, it isn't geolocked (to the same extent as a psn account to my knowledge), that and they usually don't fuck too much with people who pirate their games, pirate any EA or Ubisoft slop games and they literally won't do shit, Sony on the other hand will alert your ISP which is a fucking headache to deal with

Have you seen the tranny Pokémon Go update? It is too late for Nintendo and after their life ruining lawsuits against emulator devs I hope they go bankrupt.
Pokémon is only Nintendo in the fact that the franchise can only be on Nintendo consoles and mobile phones due to contract reasons. Still doesn't change what I said that all the rot from Sony/Microsoft would just migrate to Nintendo.

I sure love almost being totally locked out from my PS3 recently thanks to their inane security measures. Without finding an internet forum telling me I had to turn on 2-step-verification, I would've been totally fucked.

Fuck off, Playstation.
why do you still have an legal ps3 instead of hacking it to hell and using it as your emulation box?

Just a reminder that the official Sony Twitter account tweeted put a picture of Jin's bare butt from GOT with the caption

"Here's some cake to spice up your Tuesday."

Sony explicitly markets themselves as the gay cringe brand for gay cringe people.

And yea imagine if it was a girl's butt instead, the outrage, ect ect.

Rumours are GoT 2 will feature a female lead. So let's see how sexy/coombaity she is, potentially.

PSN everyone expected. What I'm talking about is charging people to play (PS+) on other platforms and I believe that to be the end game. Which I don't think even EA has done, yet. I mean, they might have, but I can't remember it and can't find it anywhere. I know they tried to charge for used games, but that was a different kind of stupid.
