Personally I don't take none of birdie's shenanigans too seriously. She;s just mere entertainment, but it does trouble me she goes this far in trying to destroy herself. I feel mostly bad for Synni, I know what it's like to end up taking care of a deadbeat moocher who rent-traps you. She seems so lonely, and no wonder considering who she falls for. But it's really just the cycle of the abused seeking abuser. Being a lesbian is already pretty lonely in itself.

I agree. Synni's practically turned into Birdie's babysitter, having to calm her down and defend her while trying to work a job to pay for her rent. She had to go through the stress of moving out and being independent, now combined with Birdie? I genuinely feel bad for her.
