One Piece - I'm Gonna Be the Pirate King!

I’d assume the Ancient Kingom capital itself or Joy Boy’s home island.

No greater F you than building your symbol of justice on top of the first pirates home.
I’d like to think the Kingdom is in ruins on Laugh Tale. And to get to One Piece, you have to go through a bunch of traps and puzzles that’d put Indiana Jones in the fetal position.

What place used to be where Enies Lobby ended up getting built over? And when did THAT get it's crap pushed in?
I dunno what it was, but I presume that happened in The War that lead to the World Government Taking over.

You're overthinking it. The sea rose because the mass of an island is now entirely underwater.
But it wasn't as far as we can tell, It's the same thing as Enies Lobby and I think that was just effectively Bottomless...and the Water falls in reverse..which kind of negates my idea that the entire landmass of The One Piece world is going down because we have a source for the water rising that I forgot about.

I would presume you also need to be a D. Else someone who has mastered The Conqueror's Haki Body Infusion could just brute force through all that.

One thing I’ve heard is that it’s also a thing that’ll test a pirate’s skills and a crew’s bonds. As for brute force, or raw power, I’d say that it is done and designed in a way to make it where you can’t just bullshit your way to success. Vegapunk did say that the old kingdom was super advanced after all.

So it wasn’t. I just remember the laughing being because of how the treasure connected to everything he and his crew learned.

TBH, I think the story and Oda have set things up to where we the audience first see the treasure when Luffy does. I just say this because Whitebeard’s speech was done when Luffy was knocked out/rendered comatose after Ace died, along with the fact Luffy and Robin both said no to the chance to learn about their respective end goals when they had the chance with Rayleigh.

We may be close to seeing the treasure, but I doubt we’re going to see it thanks to Vegapunk. Most I can think of is how Joy Boy got the treasure to where it is, and maybe why people would go after it if they knew what it really was. Hell, Vegapunk may not even know about what the treasure is because he said he didn’t know some things and he wasn’t going to bother to try and fill in the blanks with speculation .

Was it ever established that any of the Straw Hats were paying attention to Vegapunk’s final broadcast?
probably gonna have to spoils for those who ain't read it just to be safe

Ussop did react to the clouds shifting when he was told about what was gonna happen to Egghead but i feel the rest of the Straw Hats were preoccupied trying to fight the Marines and the newly arrived Five Elders who know are on a "kill on sight" order due to Vega Punk's recording.

As for the treasure i agree with you there as i always saw Robin and Luffy as close to how the audience are seeing the story as it unfolds which is interesting. I feel thanks to whatever happened during the Void Century the set up to plenty of things is being learned along with the out of the universe audience reading it and if you ask me i am hoping Oda keeps things vague so we don't get that many answers to what happened before the series start. Just enough to drop some serious lore bombs but not too much because personally I like a series that tells me enough not everything.

I'm sure I'm not the only one who thought of this, but:

What if Rayleigh is a fantastic swimmer not because he knows the world's flooding, but because his idiot captain can't swim (still no Devil Fruit) and kept falling out of the ship/jumping into water impulsively?

That's too funny of an option to be true, though I wish it was.

That "A&Mu". Arabasta & iMu?
& = and. In Japanese it would be "to"
A-To-Mu = Atom?

Also, what a coincidence.
There's a mountain named Ibu that's erupting this month.
Ibu means Mother.

Damn going deep in the cuts to past characters this time.

It's great to get confirmation that Kids is still alive.

Oh shit! Fake Luffy is now fake Eustass Kid!
