WhatifAltHist / Rudyard Lynch - History youtuber, galaxy brained, no credentials and no sex

OP really did find a hidden goldmine of a lolcow. This guy is getting increasingly unhinged. At least challenging a bunch of hasbeens to some homosexual bloodsports is better than writing a gay manifesto and going out to commit crimes.
You say that like he hasn't considered doing it.

The weird thing is that I first heard of Rudyard in an Aaron Clarey video that came up in my Youtube feed, where Clarey was responding to Rudyard's "A Message to Young Men" video with a "Yeah, no shit sherlock, grow up" tone for an hour straight. Even the title of Clarey's video is "Are Gen Z Men Totally Helpless? Are They Sentient at ALL???", like Rudyard is an idiot for not already realizing these things in his early 20s, to the point even the comments are calling Clarey out for his "when he was 11, he should have invested in bitcoin instead of going to middle school" meme.

Then again, I can't tell if Clarey himself is a Red Pill Boomer Lolcow or not. He has a thread here, but it has not been updated in three years, so maybe he's just boring; more of a Grandpa Simpson yelling at clouds boomer.

That's one of the reasons why I've had to cut back on my internet habits in the past few months: a lot of doomer, red-pilling contradictory thoughts. I'm just not stupid enough to sperg out on public social media. Then again, I do have a Kiwi Farms account.

The best way that I would sum up Aaron Clarey is that he's essentially a guy who is winning arguments with himself while in the shower, except he does it in a chair and records it for Youtube. That's most of his content, often followed by a self-congratulatory clearing of the throat.

Bro's videos have always been teetering on the edge of over-generalizing to the point of foolishness. Key insights and generalizations of complex situations into legible chunks of information is a valuable skill, and a lot of good information is contained in his videos, but he's gotten to the point where he believes in his generalized forms of ideas drawn from books he's read more than he believes in the underlying reality his ideas are supposed to reflect.

I mostly lost hope in him when he uploaded the CIA spirit realm video. If you can't critically examine a crackpot claiming to have mapped out all of heaven and hell while tripping on psychedelics working as a contractor for the CIA then you're no longer capable of critically examining ANYTHING.

Seriously, how out of touch do you have to be to see that the CIA declassified a memo from a contractor that claims to explain how the spirit realm works and you think that this means the content of the memo is truthful??

Hell, thinking said declassification is some kind of psyop (which I've seen with the UFO stuff) is more based in reality than what Rudy believes.

Clarey has been doing this shtick for over 15 years already.
Considering he did much of it under the title of "Captain Capitalism" with a Spike Spiegel avatar, he's got no grounds for calling Rudyard a clueless cringe autist, since he is one himself. At least Rudyard has said something new since 2014.

This was the first video by Rudyard that gave me the idea he could be a cow, with the Incel video pushing me to search for a thread (I consider that a good thing.)
Summary (NOTE: I listened to this and didn't read his text walls, but I think I got the gist of the upload):
  • Nobody else is going to have a "real discussion" on this, so its his job as a public intellectual™ to do so.
  • WW2 was peak history writing, according to Rudyard.
  • Most people are not capable of reading old books.
  • American Literacy has fallen, billions must read Will Durant.
  • Being into history makes you "a nerd or pretentious" in the eyes of the common man.
  • Everyone has become dumber then their ancestors
  • Political speeches are too simple.
  • Eye twitching speeds are the secret to knowing someone's intelligence.
  • Compares Lil Pump to Einstein as proof society is dumb (ignoring how people saw Einstein as a genius in his time while Pump is seen as a clown in his time, alongside different fields.)
  • Took an IQ test in high school and got 110, deboonks IQ tests.
  • Considers "smart" people being pushed to STEM fields instead of "classics, military history, and hermeticism" a bad thing.
  • 1870 was the peak of technological development.
  • College was initially made for partying and networking among elites.
  • Compares Napoleon to Honey Boo-Boo as proof equality doesn't exist (@Null would probably argue against that.)
  • The industrial revolution is why multiculturalism and equality exist.
  • Multiculturalism benefits the elites.
  • Humans evolved to forage and farm, borderline tedposting at times.
  • School system was made for factory workers, not people.
  • People these days aren't taking pride in being "elites", especially those woke liberals who talk about how their the counterculture.
  • Its better for the elites to not work, as they need to focus their brain power on managing society.
  • Education was better when it focused on "the classics, horseback riding, managing the family estate, and jousting."
  • Our elites are taught like workers and do busywork, when they should be thinking.
  • Our elites don't "know any history, wisdom, has any sense of toughness or realness."
  • Giving everyone the same education is a bad.
  • Social Mobility doesn't exist in current year
  • Standards based education brings all the intelligent people® down
  • Outright admits he's resentful that nobody told him he was smart or encouraged him in school, despite running a "successful youtube channel".
  • Everyone telling him he was normal and had no potential instead of saying he was a genius destined to save the west is proof the system is broken.
  • His autistic fixation on maps is proof of his high intelligence.
  • His teachers kept telling him to fix his grammar instead of giving him asspats about "the ideas I was writing about"
  • Outright admits he'd be working minimum wage if not for his channel blowing up
  • School hates deviations from the norm.
  • "The brilliant will be viewed by the managerial education system as annoying problems to be pushed downwards, instead of flowers to cultivate"
  • Creativity isn't promoted by the education system
  • School taught to the test in his days
  • People these days are NPCs, the school system, and thus industrial revolution is to blame.
  • Factory style schedules are no longer in use, further proof the school system is bad
  • American drinking age being college age means all colleges have a "toxic drinking culture"
  • School teaches people things they won't use in day to day life.
  • Real learning is when you read books and talk to friends about your "theories"
  • "Talking about Greek history and the Napoleonic wars is what you and the boys did for fun"
  • "Those who just want to hunt, flirt with girls, and work can do so, and those who want to talk about intellectual stuff also do so"
  • Complains about anti-intellectuals, "in previous eras, having studied the classics was positive, and the marker of a gentleman. We don't have a word for that today, and the only term for someone who studies those sorts of things is the derogatory nerd."
  • Teachers can be good, but are mostly a "poisonous social class"
  • In olden times, if you didn't teach your kids well, you kids won't "support you in old age, continue your family line, or keep your business running"
  • "Teachers have betrayed their duty to the rest of their society" by pushing more left wing world views.
  • Yelling about LGBTQ shit in schools
  • Claims in his high school they quickly changed the curriculum to be "around left wing social issues. The Latin curriculum changed to be about race, sex, and oppression in the roman empire."
  • Everything is about social issues in schools
  • Brags about how he made money by getting a quarter for each time some social justice assembly took place in this school, then did the same with gender identity.
  • His school had social justice week, which is "literally the hate week from 1984"
  • Women entering the workforce killed the "power of the family"
  • Teachers are mostly women, which is bad due to them being too agreeable (unlike Rudyard)
  • "Teachers by nature appear to be envious and resentful, they believe that since they are intelligent and caring, they deserve money and power, unlike those stupid amoral businessmen, generals, or politicians." (Ironic when you consider how Rudyard views himself.)
  • "Men will fight back, women won't...a system made by and for women."
  • Brags about how he was running a project for freshmen in his school and "took the kid gloves off", sweared at them, gave them orders, and put them into groups, which they allegedly "loved" and considered him a very cool guy that they gave high fives in the hallways for, and that women are scared by this aggression and thus can't teach men.
  • "I'm worried that the Unabomber and mouse utopia were right"
  • Talks about planning to make a group of "smart people" once he and his friends get "wealthier and better connected" and essentially founding a 2smart4u commune.
On first listen I laughed at his bitching about "nerds", since it felt to me like Rudyard is still mad he was called a nerd in high school, meaning the posters who speculated he got BTFO in school and is perpetually butthurt were on the money in my opinion. On second listen, I've heard all his takes years ago, and I can't help but laugh at how he starts this off by saying its time we have a TRUE AND HONEST talk that nobody but him can give, only to recite the most surface level criticism of the U.S school system.
I think Rudyard unironically thinks he's part of some intellectual herrenrasse with a huge chip on his shoulder about how teachers probably told him he isn't as smart as he thinks he is and other kids calling him a turbosperg over maps. Hearing him talk about how the "smart people" are being held down by "the system" oozes someone overdosing on copium about how he is a smart boy who's only unsuccessful because of the system. He probably went to collage with this romanticized view of it, saw most people don't give much of a shit and spent most time partying, then started bawwwing when instead of fellow "tfw too intelligent" types, the people at college were normies as well.
His bitching about a "overworked ruling class", when you keep in mind how highly he views himself, has me surprised he didn't refer to himself as a modern philosopher who shouldn't be working, but instead thinking up new and revolutionary ideas for society, meanwhile this very same video has little original thought. He seems to hate anything involving math due to its initial complexity (like many other), and instead thinks "smart people" should learn the things he likes, truly ironic when he criticizes the untermensch for being "rigid" thinkers.
TL;DR Rudyard Lynch is a psedudo-intellectual sperg who's somehow deluded himself into thinking he's a genius meant to save the west instead of an autist with his head so far up his ass the Met wants him to be part of their surrealist exhibit. In even simpler terms, have some of that ancient wisdom Rudyard gushes over so much:

"A fool thinks himself to be wise, but a wise man knows himself to be a fool."
- William Shakespeare, who Rudyard has complained about schools removing from their curriculum

Nothing of note happened after WW2?

Considers "smart" people being pushed to STEM fields instead of "classics, military history, and hermeticism" a bad thing.
This man has never stepped foot into a STEM-related discussion and it shows.

Outright admits he's resentful that nobody told him he was smart or encouraged him in school, despite running a "successful youtube channel".
The existence of the likes of Jake Paul shows you don't need to be intelligent to run a channel.

American drinking age being college age means all colleges have a "toxic drinking culture"
Frat boys tend to end up with successful careers, funnily enough. Of course the Puritan-minded Rudy would despise anything to do with alcohol because smart people don't drink.

I did look up the school Rudy was supposedly a student of and turns out the school, the Friends Select School, is a PRIVATE Quaker school based in Philadelphia. Knowing private schools, he probably was mad he was among other rich kids that were probably of the same background and intellect he is.

EDIT: New video dropped from Rudy.
