People with debt are only helped by hyperinflation. When they start printing a bunch of extra zeroes on the currency kind of inflation. Then the instant they pay off the debt with the inflated currency they're just as fucked as everyone else
Somehow I feel...and just hear me out here...somehow I feel that that's not going to work this time. That if we get hyperinflation, I'm not gonna be able to walk down to the bank and pay off my mortgage with some freshly printed Bidenbucks 1 Trillion Dollar bills because lol I owe $78,000 on my mortgage and a loaf of bread is $1500 and I now make $5000 an hour.

No, I think Congress will pass some banking protection acts real fast to make sure Citibank doesn't suddenly find all it's customers are paying off their credit cards. They'll probably tie credit card and bank loan debt to inflation or something.

That's why you gotta do it quick because yes there is only a small window before creditors shudd id dahn

I have morgage thats 3.5 percent now do you believe inflation is above or below that rate?

Are your monthly expenses going up faster or slower than your income?

The difficulty of servicing debt is basically

your after-expenses income
----------------------------
your payment

When your income goes up 5% in a year, and your expenses go up 50%, guess what, you have a lot less left over to service your debt. Inflation made it harder, not easier, for you to make your mortgage payment. This is because your debt isn't capital. It's not generating profit for you that increases with inflation.

I cant give you an easier answer because my income isnt consistent. Multiple sources, but my note payment is consistent.

If you're not making a wage or salary, then you're not representative of the average American, and you shouldn't cite yourself as in any way a normative example.

Lmao he ferried out CSPAN to film it too.
We are governed by deeply unserious, coddled, credentialed professionals.
Yeah, it just shows you how delusional these folks are. Blinken is what, US Secretary of State? Basically running the whole Proxy War in Ukraine, had to go over there to keep shit going after this latest string of Russian victories, and then while Ukrainians are dying on the front line en masse, he changes into his “rock ‘n roller” costume and belts out a antiwar song with the house band at some shitty club in Kiev, and he WANTED IT FILMED. He BROUGHT the cameras with him. He thought that was a GOOD idea. The Elite personified. At the center of power, head War Pig, but convinced he’s an AntiWar Rebel Alliance Freedom Fighter or some such shit like that. Completely self-absorbed and delusional.

I mean, what’s next? He flies into Kiev in an F-16 and says “Mission Accomplished!, Heckuva job, Zelensky!”?

Normal americans are not self employed?....small buisness owner etc? Fuck what about all the trademen like plumbers, plasterers, painter, electricians, drywallers etc? they aren average americans?

So when I go and bid a job to re-pipe a house, or when I ask mike to bid a job to haul away the fucking trash from demo, or when I refer larry to bid a job to fix the holes mike knocked into the walls because those jobs are nether wages or salary they are not representative of average americans?......

Dave the contractor that runs his bob cat and dump truck on various jobs isnt an average american?

I know we cant power level but what industry do you work in?

Does anyone remember when Tulsi Gabbard basically ended Kamala's career on the primary debate stage? Did that get memory holed?

The fact that Joe still picked her as a running mate after that just proves to me there's never been a coherent plan.
I doubt Joe actually picked Kamala himself. His campaign staff probably picked her for him. Biden choosing kamala a person who called him racist makes no sense to me.

I'm still of the mind that after Biden promised a black woman VP, every prominent black female Democrat told his campaign to fuck off besides her and maybe Stacy Abrams, and Abrams being a chronic election denier who couldn't flip Georgia was an even less worthy pick than Kamala.
People forget it, but the optics of putting a prosecutor who had to be told by the CA Supreme Court to stop denying nonviolent offenders parole was terrible optics after the Summer of Peace. My proggo friends were seething about the choice for like three weeks after the convention that year.

The problem is that a lot of business owners are also employees for tax purposes.

there was a minute Val Demings was in the chatter but I dunno if she told them no or they told her no
she was mostly an unknown, worst you could say about her was one time she got a gun stolen while she was a deputy and left it in her car like a sped

isn't rocking in the free world a critique of the US? like full on making fun of Bush Sr. and that whole post-cold war era of neoliberal politics
It is. Neil Young even quotes the whole "thousand points of light" thing in the third verse. The first one is about homelessness. The second about a dumpster baby.

The title "Rockin' in the free world" is said Ironically. Like "Born in the USA". Another song politicians don't understand.

I explained why she was picked a loooooong time ago so I dug it up again for this. Kamala was picked for a reason... and that reason was that she was the -only- person they had who fit all the criteria.
