Texas Governor Greg Abbott pardons Daniel Perry after conviction for shooting armed agitator during BLM riots

"The Texas Board of Pardons and Paroles conducted an exhaustive review of U.S. Army Sergeant Daniel Perry’s personal history and the facts surrounding the July 2020 incident and recommended a Full Pardon and Restoration of Full Civil Rights of Citizenship," said Abbott in a statement.

"Among the voluminous files reviewed by the Board, they considered information provided by the Travis County District Attorney, the full investigative report on Daniel Perry, plus a review of all the testimony provided at trial. Texas has one of the strongest ‘Stand Your Ground’ laws of self-defense that cannot be nullified by a jury or a progressive District Attorney. I thank the Board for its thorough investigation, and I approve their pardon recommendation."

Good times. Somewhere there's an in-close version of it, that shows the BLM idiot putting the rifle in Perry's face at the driver's window. The big contention was whether he "pointed" the rifle at Perry, or merely "gestured" with it to roll the window down.

Either way, Perry was 100% right to shoot at a mob enforcer waving a gun at him, and it's pathetic that it took 4 years to clear him.

And remember, this was yet another BLM fucking around and finding out moment:

Did Garrett Foster have a Twitter account? If he had one, let's hope it wasn't deleted, who knows if he might have dropped some unorthodox tweets? I got the feeling he could have the same kind of hidden skeletons as Joseph Rosenbaum and Anthony Huber.

The only reason the left hasn't become more violent is due to sheer fact the left has been extremely incompetent at extreme violence. Like we should be thankful the left isn't making less mistakes. Garret Foster was a lolbert and boogaloo type. He bought into the anti trump propaganda in the area and joined up with the BLM group. Unfortunately people within said group fell apart as they gifted from his death and BLM ran off with the money.

Close, what they will probably end up doing is making bombs but then accidentally blow themselves up in the process. That's what happened with Weather Underground.

Part of the reason I think the glowies are so paranoid about right wing terrorism is because right wing or at least non-left wing terroristic violence tends to be much more effective when it comes to killing people. Compare McVeigh, Breivik, or Tarrant to shit like the Simbionese or MOVE. Obviously not a rock solid rule but generally the left wing nutjobs get fewer high scores.
