Actually in the process of learning Japanese (I want to read the Japanese Lolcow thread, leave me alone), and one of the first things you learn is that the language can get real loose with words (San being able to be translated as Mr. or Ms. depending on the context) and that different genders often use different pronouns to describe themselves to the world, and that sometimes a girl might use masculine pronouns to come across as tougher or more tomboyish where as a boy might use feminine pronouns to come across that way.

But lets take advantage of the fact that most Americans do not care to learn any language beyond English and take advantage of the missing context here to make something fake and gay.

Best description I can come up with is "gender-confused effeminate guy." This is a trope in Japanese media. It's seen as childish and sort of silly-cute. It's not intended to be woke or to promote western style tranny ideology. The exact same kind of character exists in the VN/anime Steins;Gate for example, where
this character even gets to become a real girl in an alternate timeline but agrees to be turned back to a guy because it's necessary for the world to be saved and he admits he isn't happy as a girl anyway.

You know with this in mind ( something I knew nothing about ) this really could be a case of a cultural gap that also had a mistranslation added on top of it. I don't like troons as much as the next guy but it very well may he the issue here that we as westerners may not get what they were saying or doing with their own tropes.

Their own story would not sell and reach less people as a result. Not only because of the LMBTQ+ characters, but their general incompetence at storytelling. Like parasites, they must attach themselves to already popular IPs and inject their ideology into them, hoping fans begrudgingly put up with it. The outrage also brings attention to the subject. A tranny game failing on its own is not newsworthy, evil Chuds hating on beloved title, because it is now trans inclusive is something the media can rave about.
The problem is, current year "entertainment" industry is all about activism, not actual entertainment.
