The fact that Nintendo games will often include JP Audio but not a direct translation of the JP script to go with it bugs me so.

It’s real easy to tell the Scripts are different even if you can only grasp some of the words.

I find it especially baffling when the JP dialogue clearly says something in heavily-accented English, and yet it still doesn't show up in the English text.

paper bros view this shit as a way to get paper mario games like the first two if it sells well, so them buying it is much less about the remaster itself and more about what it means for the franchise to escape sticker star after like what, a decade?

It was under 40 where I am and I’d say that is a good price for a remake of a 20 year old game that you can’t get anywhere that’s been rescripted, had stuff added and had updated visuals and soundtrack

So let's put together a list of everything needed to be changed in order to make this an actual tolerable remaster with mods:
-60 FPS patch
-revised script
-remove the shitty undertale voice blips
-boost the color saturation a little
-this one isn't necessary but it would be cool: remake the soundtrack that sounds closer to the original but with a bit more flare and neat additions that make it sound like a "remaster" to these tracks.

Anything else in the realm of modding?

Oh yeah, let's not forget
-add back in Mario's Hitler salute
-Re-add the Nigger graffiti
