The offer itself is charitable. Many motivations could factor in here, but I find it predictable that none of the pond scum proletariat can manage to draw out a mutually beneficial positive. Even if July is operating out of pure self interest and out of a desire to show up Frog, then Frog could have responded by doing something else for a "friend" on the ropes. But what does jigglypuff do but stream himself drunk at a Phillies game then repeatedly tell his son to get out of the driver's seat when they're about to head home. Don't be dumb and play the whatabout game, Ethan deserves to get his ass shut down many times over. Sure, a ton of people on Twitter have either been clowning on Nick or claiming he’s completely fine and needs no help after that mess of a livestream, but Eric July responding to someone blaming him for Nick’s state, saying “Nick’s own decisions led him to this point. If he wants help, I’ll give it to him because seeing someone do this to themselves is hard” is somehow worse.

Like you’re free to not like July’s response or feel he’s just doing it for attention, but you also seem to be projecting a lot of your own personal bias on the matter. Thats the issue people are having.
