I Know i said i wasn't gonna mention TNO: Project Restoration..... BUT

Yeah, these mf's are gonna get their shit nuked lmao, Any bets for a rough timeframe until the dipshit owner accidentally makes the wrong person a simple dev (Yes, they have full admin perms according to both the owner and a Dev in the server who i asked)
An idea so ill-advised, I wouldn't be shocked if he just wants the thing to be euthanized.
As an aside, I haven't played TNO in years, did they ever expand the Africa content? That was always the biggest disappointment to me, that a fail state was the only outcome for the German victory, especially when the flavor events made it sound like the Germans were just wiping out everyone.
As far as I know, no, they did not. Haven't played it in over a year myself and I don't follow the mod like I used to but I'm pretty sure the same content is still there for the most part if not entirely unchanged. Just as well, the vibe I get through osmosis is that the people currently in charge just rework everything from the ground up and rarely finish anything. So if they touched it now it'd just be to remove the Reichsstaat and replace it with a generic skeleton in 2027.

Don't get your hopes up and just play KX and OWB instead like a normal person. Sad to say, the setting actually had potential.

To be fair they were raided like two days ago by trolls spamming messed up gore pictures on their server. I could understand that he did this because he's not there all the time for when this happens again. So it makes sense for them to do this.

That's fair, but here's the issue.
Every Developer has Admin perms, not a handful, every single one. Meaning if somebody applys to be a simple Writer or something and gets on, they'd have full unresrtricted admin, this includes for some reason, the perms to delete channels as well.

Owner is basically asking for somebody to get in on the team and Nuke his mod server lmao

A few months ago a TNO reddit fan went on a spergdom on what video game console would be like in TNO.

This sounds all fine and good until you realize that Nintendo only got into gaming because they made the mold for the light gun of the Magnavox Odyssey.

Yes. Really.

Kind of amazing a half assed visual novel has spawned so much autism.

The TrooNO long con to kill this thread by not releasing any content. Though this thread is consistently on page 1 of community watch.
We endure though our own autism.

Anyways finished up the Dokatoa Chapter, pretty good plotline even if he whole thing is ultimately a trap path where Hayman ends up a slave to the AI. Would be interesting if it had content after this point, but by the end of the focus trees you're pretty much the only major player in the North anyways. Normal Montana Brotherhood seems to have a lot more expansion content.

I have really enjoyed the Montana Brotherhood content, it's all been enjoyable.
I think that you hit on a good point with OWB content in general though, it does tend to lack when it comes to the end game content.
It becomes really easy to steamroll nations, but there's not much reason to do so as there's not much end game content.
One thing I like about the Enclave Expanded mod is that they have a decent amount of content to keep the game going, hopefully the rest of the OWB team incorporates that.

To be fair I'm not a real big fan of end game content. Much as I like it, it does feel like it extends gameplay too long. OWB is mostly about the journey, not the ending, so I give the devs a pass because of the work they put into each tag. It's hard to find a single nation with a unique tree that isn't really interesting and has multiple paths. End game content should be restrained otherwise it ends up being very bloaty. Kaiserreichs restored UK is treading the line between meaningful and bloated curretly, and most of the diplomatic shit is worthless since most affected nations are either in a faction or destroyed.

My only big issue with OWB is the manpower. It helps to nerf nations and makes sense giving the setting, but some nations get absolutely thrashed in wars because of low manpower pools. Also their coring system sucks ass and I despise it because of how much of a drain on manpower it becomes.

Manpower really is a problem in OWB. I wish there were an option similar to the vanilla's commie option to print manpower, even if it comes at a big disadvantage. A few updates ago they had the refugee options that would help you integrate new populations at an expense of PP, which helped somewhat.
If I am being honest, I do tend to use the console cheats for PP in OWB, but only when it comes to coring territory costs.

My big bitch is I feel like the Legion gets to be too technologically advanced, despite rejection of advanced technology being mandated by Caesar. If you're gonna have the Legion have a shitton of factories and a flood of manpower, then remove all their techs above "Basic". There's basically no reason if you're going for "How OP can I be?" to play as anyone but the Legion.

You can re-enable the full refugee system in the settings, when selecting a country on the map. Lets you disable Tlaloc's death scream and the "lone wolf" general trait, too.
With regards to population, it seems incompletely balanced. Some regions are pretty sparse (British Colombia, for instance), while others are inexplicably dense (there's parts of Manitoba whose population competes with Southern California; the Esmeralda County area has about a thousand times as many people as it does currently). In practice, the population spread means that Mexico and/or Texas will be able to steamroll everyone else.

In my experience, the only times that the Legion doesn't totally overrun California is when Caesar dies. Invasions from Mexico or Texas usually don't happen soon enough to stop the NCR from collapsing.

I'm sure you can mod it yourself to lock them into primitive tech only as OWB segregates every tag's research abilities into three tiers. IIRC Legion has theirs locked to the middle one. You can either just elect not to do any of these yourself in a challenge run, or change the game files yourself to lock the Legion into the early parts of the game, perhaps even with an option to have Caesar issue a decree to allow for more advanced weapons in a pinch even, don't think that'd be out of character. Either way, as far as I'm aware, a more lore-friendly Legion (under Caesar and Lanius at least) should just require you to edit two .txt files at a minimum, and just a smidge more if you want something more developed. You can ask around on their Discord for help if you need it, they were more than happy to help me out and seemed like a friendly community.

Personally quite doing enjoy this. OWB (still the best HOI4 mod in my opinion) has a tendency to become too easy once you allow yourself to just overpower everyone with infinity power armor fighters. Keeping everything at a primitive level for the Legion makes it just a bit more challenging and does a good job at balancing out their other advantages.

I usually end up cheating in manpower, but it really does screw the AI over in the long run. I watched Lanius get stuck fighting the Hangdogs because he hit 0 manpower locking him out of half his focus tree and denying him the ability to intervene in the Legion Civil War. As for coring, I use one of the toolpack mods, I get sick of having to make so many puppets to deal with not losing all available manpower to garrisons.

What would his ideology be
Given his """sense of humor""" it would probably be some variant of """Libertarianism""" that emphasizes degeneracy and hedonism.

Not the good ol' 19th century British Classical Liberalism or Hawaiian-shirted Don't Tread On Me kind, but the Epstein Island kind.
