Greta Gustava Martela / Kjel Anderson & Nina Chaubal / Niraj Chaubal - Stole $350k+ from Trans Lifeline, kill count of 2+ from negligence, Founders of Sisterwood/La Zorra.

His brother is using his death to have a week of reddit communities like /r/science talking about trans issues, so I'd say the family is just fine with politicizing the death and using it for internet asspats.

I noticed that. I also noticed that it wasn't announced on reddit until 20 October.

Maybe the rest of the family doesn't want a bunch of Internet drama troons showing up anyway.

Two weeks ago there was a true and honest tranny suicide of one of the more nutso hardcore TLL asspatters. Now I don´t argue Greta and Nina are in any way responsible, or know about it, but if their "Lifeline" would be any good they might have been able to prevent it. One tranny down, though. I sorta didn´t want to bring it up tbh but it´s all over Twitter by now so shit doesn´t matter, I suppose.

What was the tranny's name?
Edit: Viviphilia, right?

Yeah, it was Viviphilia.

Or at least didn't want them having input into funeral arrangements. People in the reddit thread weren't shy about voicing their opinions about what was "appropriate". It wouldn't surprise me if part of the reason for delaying announcing the death there was to avoid strangers feeling entitled to have a say in the arrangements - no-one needs to deal with that shit.

The brother did mention the "dead name" in the reddit announcement. There were lots of deleted posts so I don't know whether he got called out for that.

Yeah, it was Viviphilia.

Tommy Tooter calls the Trans Lifeline. He's pissed at Nina for blowing him and one of his exceptional friends off. Nina was digging for screencaps because he's a moron and talked to Tommy. Tommy decided to take a bunch of pills, get drunk and talk to the cops for 10 minutes in this video while talking to Nina and Nina dropped him. Tommy decided to make a video testing the Trans Lifeline for his people.

Because of the concept, not how it is executed. The concept is fine and it fits with the greater degree of acceptance transgender people have achieved in the past decade. There is nothing wrong with that, either. The problem with this line, as is the problem with a lot of other causes in other movements, is that a cause does not receive the degree of scrutiny it should get because people on the inside feel it is "theirs" and that people from the outside who attack it are doing so to hurt "them". So with a lack of scrutiny, they get lazy in how they administer the business. Eventually, those running the cause find small holes where they can benefit themselves. They aren't being watched by their community, their community actively protects them from being called out, so the problem gets worse. And worse. And eventually you have this. A charity where the owners enjoy prestige and take in a great deal of cash. I don't think Greta and Nina intended to do the things they do now, but I don't think they had the moral compass to prevent it, either. Running a non-profit is difficult on multiple levels, they're just too weak and stupid to prevent this all, and that's okay. What is not okay is to continue once it is abundantly clear you are too weak and stupid.
Because this is a suicide hotline couldnt these people be liable for someones suicide? I noticed the were Accredited Crisis Centers in California and I found some stuff relating to that.

Crisis centers are required to follow specific administrative procedures and regulations to ensure that proper ethical procedures are used when crisis workers handle client calls and client information is kept confidential. In addition, crisis centers must advertise their services clearly and appropriately, so as not to mislead the public about the services that it provides.

Because journalism itself is a joke populated by fuckups, drunks and lunatics who couldn't get real jobs.

oh you edited your post

Yeah, if this is presented correctly, I could potentially get people in LGBT media involved. My initial idea was to first go to some of the community centers that I've worked for since I'm good friends with most of the directors and talk to them about it. Word travels really fucking fast in the more active parts of the LGBT community because everyone in leadership knows each other or is connected to people who do. Even moreso with the trans branch.

But the main issue would be figuring out how to get the conversation going. A news outlet conducting an investigation could possibly be all we need to see Trans Lifeline go up in flames.
Drew Griffon is the guy that investigates charities on CNN. You could maybe contact him or CNN if they want to bother with this but CNN probably wants to go after charities that scam in the millions of dollars. They do love to film chimpouts during confrontations though and this should be pretty easy.

I thought that Trans Lifeline were specifically not accredited because they won't call the cops if someone threatens to off themselves while on the phone to them
Oh Im sure they arent but that quote I posed seemed to apply to crisis centers in general not just accredited ones. Was asking if someone knew.

That's the reason. No matter what they were, it's the family's right to lay them to rest however they see fit, and they are not obligated to listen to a bunch of people on the internet who didn't know the person.

Or even a bunch of people on the Internet who did know the person. Unless they had descendants, or a will, pretty much nobody can overrule them.

I think it's because there's gonna be one party in SF. and one in Chicago, the 7 people thing is for the Bay Area one.

Still, 34 people isn't a whole lot. Guess all the other have already done a flip when the lifeline wouldn't answer or something.

They ignore your calls without being paid, bless their hearts.
