It’s not just saying no to things, it’s like bipolar for men edition. They’ll act extremely chummy with whoever they think is in charge until the second they get asked to do something, and they go full on panic attack trying to convince the next person up the chain they’ve been wronged. And it’s not a strategic thing, I watched that kid proceed to tell exactly what he did to the administration because he thought they would side with him.

It would explain a lot about Rikieta’s behavior, although again, he’s not 8. And again, ODD is not like schizophrenia. Simply being aware you have the condition is enough to help manage it.
