The most unexpected winner in all of this is Aaron, he may have lost his whore of a 2nd wife and ate shit for the couple of days that his divorce was out in the open. But he's making back tenfold in the attention this is going to bring Steel Toe in the coming weeks and months, not even mentioning what kind of leverage this is going to give him in mediation and divorce court.

Police stuff and Aaron's stream tell another tale, Nick has some weird obsession probably not very well known with guns, no normal addict makes a bunch of little drug cases out of bullets or shells, and then hide them everywhere like a very disturbed easter rabbit
Wonder if that is what Aaron kids found that caused him to flip out and stop going over there

Maybe someone else had this thought already, but it occurred to me that Nick's desire to be somesort of comedian was a reaction to his spiral.

Rather than some nacent funny man dream, he figured what job could slot into his out of control drugged out lifestyle. Plenty of comedians are hedonistic losers, but still manage to make some money and have some fame.

With Nick's unwarranted self confidence, narcissism, and drug highs he might have felt compelled to go the LA Comedian route.

Daxipad has been doing drugs for decades and enjoys an easy life of low effort moneymaking.

I hope you are right and he does try and go for a trial. Personally, in my opinion based on nothing more than what I know now, I think it's fucking god damn suicide with the DA to try and get this turned into a win - if he loses in trial there will be sentencing and the penalty of not pleading out for lesser and the DA will make the case for a decent sentence. The jury isn't going to be fooled on his attempts to off load this onto a whore and his character comes into play and the videos he made will be played to the jury. I mean all I see is "Go to trial = my suicide note".

Early days and who can say what will happen.
I think we will know if Nick is going to go full retard or not depending on if they get real lawyers or not.
If it gets closer to the 1st court dates and he is still going in intending to represent himself and his wife then we will know.

True, but it also gives a potential leverage to the first wife who already has an HRO on him and April. But don't worry, according to him their relationship is the best it's ever been! Nobody ever puts on a nice face while their lawyer drafts documents.

What is the over/under on April coming back and begging to take her back?

Considering she probably has no where to stay now.

Perhaps lot lizard is a future position she could pursue.

Yeah, MrMemeyagi, how dare someone relay something true.

I'm not convinced Imholte reported it (he mightve), but so what if he did? You're supposed to keep secrets like that? Fuck that noise. Tell the world. Or better yet, tell someone who can get things happening.

These people are capital-r Retarded. Sick.

From his post he might believe that apologizing is the same as admitting guilt which could weaken his case. I think he's said something like that before.
On one hand, that's a fair point. Best to say nothing. On the other, it conveniently aligns with a brain-dead selfish druggie's way of getting through life. It's practical but not sympathetic. And "trust me, don't believe the hype" would be sad if it weren't so offensive.

You realize he wasn't home when they came knocking?
That child had been told not to let cops in the house, whether that day or in general. No kid not exposed to this kind of shit or told what to do is going to face down a bunch of cops or do anything without getting their mom.

As dumb as it is for Nick to stream about this right now. ...
Nick may suggest the hard drugs were Aprils. Nick seemed confused during the hearing that she was cut loose and her credit cards were found with the drugs.
The additional charges could be explained away as prescribed medication and legally owned guns that the state was using to pad charges. Also, the whole cops lie thing.
Some of it may be true, suspect Nick to be arrogant enough to try to spin it.
i laughed so hard when he was told she'd been released. The look. He lost the influence he had over her as her "lawyer."

Without a doubt. A Priest is a shepard of his flock. When Rekieta went astray, bet your ass the Priest knew. I even bet he took the time to watch the drunk streams. Because that is his job. He's not just there to spout rote scripture. He's there to make sure the members of the congregation can journey to the Kingdom of Heaven. In the case of a parishoner who goes fully astray, they become an almost pet project. I bet the Priest even watched the Pill Stream and sent another message to the Police after that which was left unmentioned because it would have made the State look incompetent if it took a Priest shrieking at them TWICE to go batter down a door.

The only way the Priest sold out Rekieta is if he became convinced he was endangering his children, who were also a part of his flock and thus deserving of his care and intervention. This is very much an allowable breach of the otherwise separation of Church and State. Because at the end of the day the Children are just as much a part of the Communion of Christ as their parents, and when the parents have become possessed of evil and endanger their lives and souls the Church must use what tools are available to save them. Which includes notifying the civil authorities.

Which is why I find JuJu the Cows "God sold out Nick Rekieta" tweet repugnant on a visceral level. God didn't sell out Nick Rekieta. God saved his children.
No one sold anyone out. You do shit, you get caught, that's your fault for doing shit. No one owes you protection for doing bad things.

Send me the rainbows but there is the possibility of a massive redemption arc here. If I were Nick, here is what I would do to try and salvage my future:
  1. Make arrangements for my parents to take my kids for 60-90 days.
  2. Go to a reputable in-patient rehab facility.
He lives literally a couple of hours from the best known rehab in the country (Hazelden Betty Ford).

  1. The only stream until rehab is complete would be on the way to the facility. Apologize, promise to try your best to get sober and come back to Lawsplaining when sober.
  2. Complete rehab (the hardest part).
  3. Once back home, jump right into an interesting trial that is starting and live stream the whole thing. In the down time tell amusing anecdotes about getting sober.
  4. Stop night streaming and stream instead during the day, or in the evening.
  5. Settle with Montagraph
  6. Profit ... enough to help pay for the incoming legal bills and Montograph's settlement.
He could come out of this. At this point I would say he has a good 30% chance of getting through this with his family in tact, but he has to come to Jesus first.
Completing rehab is nbd. People do it all the time, especially after an arrest like this. Because omg what have I done I'm desperate and maybe this will help my case. They don't stick with it long. And with a habit as big as 26 fucking grams of coke around for funsies, it will take a lot more than having someone to fight to bring him to his knees. Clearly, based on his post this afternoon/evening.

Any lawyers here? Would fessing up, pleading for mercy, and going to rehab help his case?

That seems like the responsible thing to do as a Dad. But would the justice system bend you over harder for doing that. Not sure what the play is on denying the possession.
Sadly, it's kind of a dumb thing to do. What you want is an actual lawyer who can negotiate something for you before you plead to anytjing. Going to rehab can be a sympathetic point, some sense of reckoning and responsibility, but he's obviously not thinking that way.

It's like Nick named the boys and Kayla named the girls.

She's dumber than a box of rocks so it tracks.
They are both dumber than a box of rocks. Nick just has enough glibness to pass as semi-sentient.

wew there. way to double down and rationalize. no way this is a wakeup call for him. i put like 20% odds that it would be (as opposed to 0% without any arrest), so i'm not surprised, but still.

one possibility is that he is so bitter and stubborn that he actually behaves for the time period but goes right back to getting fucked up all the time. best, BEST case scenario (that is, aside from jail time) is that he gets sentenced to a drug rehab program for 30/60/90 days (which is not cheap) and a hefty fine. he is so bitter, vindictive, petty, dysfunctional, and stubborn that he will likely ape his way through the program until he gets out and goes right back to his old ways, being too smart for all the losers around him who just don't understand how "stressed" he is and how he simply MUST be fucked up all the time to cope with it.

another is that he is so dumb that he attempts to outsmart the system by getting fucked up anyway (especially with the kids out of the picture) and tries to pass the mandatory drug tests anyway but fails. apparently he's a webmd expert so he's probably confident that he could beat a drug test in a pinch.

the lengths addicts go to maintain their addictions are truly staggering. i don't see any hope for this guy yet.

Can't wait until the next Redbar stream!

(This is rural Minnesota. Not downtown LA with gangs of nogs roaming the streets.)
There are bears and wolves and shit I suppose. You really should have a rifle if you live in a rural area surrounded by woods.

Aaron is a cow in the making in his own right. He is on record that he knew what was happening with the drugs and child neglect (the Spaghetti O’s story) and was okay with all of it or at least didn’t say shit until April walked out on him (feel free to correct me on the latter part but he was 100% complacent). He says that he argued with Nick about it but this was all after the fact. He’s just capitalizing on the situation for views now and trying to make himself look like a wholesome guy, the same thing Nick did during the beginning of his career. Mark my words Aaron needs to spill the tea and gtfo or he’s gonna become a cow

The only thing I'd disagree with here is the streaming. That shit is done. Streaming online was the source of his madness. He needs to pack that in altogether and find a career that is consistent with him getting and maintaining some basic fucking humility.
Agreed. He's been getting fucked up on stream for so long that his brain is automatically going to associate firing the stream up with the beginning of his next bender. There's no way he could do it sober anymore without actually using some kind of self restraint which he clearly doesn't possess.

Also for alcohol.

There are some theories that it can help with addiction in general. There’s also a protocol for alcoholics taking naltrexone WHEN they drink, to uncouple the endorphin release from alcohol consumption.

It helps some alcoholics quit the bottle.
When I was taking it, I was explicitly told I couldn’t drink but, I wouldn’t be surprised if there are schemes for making it work

Man I own a bunch of guns. Never once have I found a spent shell casing just laying around the house. I'm perplexed by the claims of others that this isn't uncommon. Do I just have OCD or some neat freak attitude that compels me to fastidiously clean up around myself? That being said, I don't reload my own ammo (Nick may for all I know) and I don't shoot on my property and I've heard people say the Rekieta's have enough property to safely shoot and that could make up the difference. I've seen the Google Maps images of their house and I really wouldn't feel safe blasting off rounds for fun around that neighborhood or the ponds behind it. There is a range maybe 15 mins away from their place.
I'll say from experience that the only times I've found a spent shell casing were near where the guns would be shot. I've never gone to a friend/family member's home and found a casing somewhere odd. Barn? Sure. Garage? Maybe if you look. Bedroom? No.
I think a better question is, could Rekieta realistically shoot a round in his home without his neighbors hearing it? I know it's Missouri, but I thought he lived in an upper class neighborhood?
EDIT: he's from Minnesota, mixed it up with the Haiti missionaries

She unironically would probably have been on OnlyFans by the end of the year if she stayed with Nick. Nick seems to unironically think that anyone with a crumb of clout, even "Former GM of Steel Toe Morning Show", could turn that into a 6 or 7 figure OF account.

Marc Randazza? Showing some semblance of a conscience? This was not a twist I was expecting.
He has a financial interest in shutting the fuck up and hoping the checks continue to clear and instead showed more compassion than any of Nick's LawTube 'friends".

When he was talking about it earlier today he said that he was the only one that would be around with the kids when they went over there. So it seems like they would go over and April, Kayla, and Nick would get high and probably be all touchy feely while they're rolling on MDMA (Aaron possibly with them), the kids being not as retarded as the 'adults' think could tell weird stuff was going on and they didn't like it and it made them uncomfortable. Other than that he said the kids got along so I guess the bright side is they have someone their age range to talk about this with.
