For a guy with such fedora atheist tendencies, Bob is weirdly superstitious in his own way.

That was my exact thought when I read that tweet. Bob will rail against Believers every fucking hour of the day, yet Doge dies and he's like, "oh man, it's a sign of the end times, we're fucked." He will not see the hypocrisy here.
Also, apparently the dog had been in
really rough shape for a long while, but the owner refused to euthanize it. I saw a picture over in A&N and it made my heart sink. Fucking animal cruelty right there. Rest in peace, pup.

Further reading from
A&N: "Since the end of 2020... wages after inflation actually
fell by 2.9 percent."
Dunno how many times it needs to be said, but wages going up doesn't mean shit when the price of everything goes up faster. Same thing with regards to the stock market, it means nothing to the average person who's struggling to make ends meet. But please, continue to go on about how great the economy is doing and how everyone else is a rube for not seeing the truth like you do, that's sure to get people to vote Biden.

Given
Star Wars has so many spin-offs already, why not let the main features stay "kids' movies" and consign the more "mature" (read woke) material in the TVs and cartoons?
That literally is what the old EU did, expanding upon the world of the family-friendly movies and exploring mature (not woke) themes through books, comics, and video games. It was also wholly separate from the movies, so you could enjoy the movies on their own and only delve deeper if you felt like you wanted to.
Disney, meanwhile, has instead gone with the "everything is canon" approach, meaning that huge chunks of relevant details will simply not be in the movies and you're forced to delve into a bunch of random shit to figure out what's going on, when it's not being retconned by some other author because there's no tardwrangling going on there. This leads to fun things like the return of Palpatine being announced in Fortnite of all things.
I'll let Elijah Wood summarize the problem with Disney Star Wars:

Asshole Screed promises to take your breath away.
Most people with half a brain take "based on a true story" with a healthy dose of skepticism because they know that a lot of stuff is changed around or played up for dramatic effect. Bob is apparently dumb enough to think that movies don't lie to him.
This is why - while with other threads if I get too far behind I'll just skip to the latest page - I'll actually crawl through Bobby's until I catch up. Because I don't want to miss these moments.

"Complicated hate" he describes as "psychological antivenom"
I just.... it's the kind of phrase the more you think about it, the worse it gets. It should really go memetic like his eugenics tweet, the small amount of mcdonald's, and his cooking tweets. This is the kind of shit you'd see in a serial killer's manifesto.
It really did take me aback when I read it. It's impressive when he posts things like this and doesn't realize how psychotic it makes him sound. When the average person gets emotional, they'll just gradually work their way back to their regular state. Bobby, meanwhile, felt the need to purge himself of those emotions as quickly as possible, so he surrounded himself with things he could get viscerally angry at to shock himself back to his default rage state.
Reading in between the lines of posts like these makes me realize that, despite all his bluster and bravado, at his core Bob is nothing more than a small, timid child that is afraid of being hurt. He runs from anything that might make him feel bad, preferring to armor himself with layer upon layer of anger and hatred, going through life as an unrepentant asshole because it's easier than potentially being sad. It's easiest to see whenever the topic of death comes up; nothing cuts to the quick more than the reminder of Bob's own mortality. He would rather shut himself off from the concept entirely than work through grief and loss, as seen when he used getting the A/C fixed as an excuse not to be around his family after his grandma died.
I would feel more pity for him if he weren't such a colossal asshole, but I do feel a touch of pity for him, even though I know he calls for my death on a daily basis. Call it my Christian upbringing, I suppose.
I don't know why Blobo is so assblasted about AI. All of the Marvel slop he worships is essentially AI generated already with how formulaic it is, only instead of being written by an algorithm, it's written by a legion of diversity niggers.
The formulaic nature was always something that came up in reviews of Marvel movies, to the extent that it legitimately felt they were just swapping names around and calling it a day. Funnily enough, I'd always seen that brought up as a negative, except in one instance: Captain Marvel. The Rotten Tomatoes critic synopsis instead reads, "Packed with action, humor, and visual thrills,
Captain Marvel introduces the MCU's latest hero with an origin story that makes effective use of the franchise's signature formula." Critics were
praising the movie for being formulaic, clearly because they didn't want to badmouth the diversity movie.
It was at that point that I knew I was going to be done with the MCU after Endgame, and I still am.
