Oh I'm glad I'm still bothering to catch up on this thread. I think we just figured out another piece of Bob lore.

So I found the obituary of Bob's grandma.

No luck finding Robert W Chipman yet. (I found a Robert W Chipman but he seems to be from a different family.) Anyway that also mentions she was preceded in death by Robert W Chipman. So we definitely know uncle Bob passed away before 2012, possibly even sooner.

So here's my theory: Bob was definitely named after his uncle. Probably to distinguish between the two of them, uncle was called Robert, and kiddo was named Bob. Robert dies comparatively young at some point, and nowadays that's why Bob gets so triggered whenever someone calls him "Robert" - because it reminds him of his uncle who died and we know how Bob very much fears the Reaper.

The way planned obsolescence works in videogames is requiring the most up to date console for all the new games. Unicorn Overlord, a 2D turn based strategy game, is only available on Xbox Series consoles, not on the old and out of date Xbox One. Why?
