My wife doesn't get it, she still loves me and I still love her but that she doesn't get the whole agender thing.

She's been trying to understand but hasn't been able to do it alone and while I've tried explaining how it feels for me that doesn't quite seem to help with what she's feeling. She's having trouble finding resources from a partner's perspective for what she's going through and I think that would help too. I know she's trying and I know this is hard for her especially since it was completely unexpected for both of us.

She's attracted to men and while I still look and act the same way I always have she says it feels different now because I don't identify as a man. I know she wants to understand it and be supportive and while she is trying she's having a hard time. She also says she does feel bad that she feels this way, I really want to help her but I just don't know how to.

If there are any partner's of agender/NonBinary people that might be able to help or just talk about your experience with your partner finding out they are agender/NonBinary I would really appreciate it.

I used an eyeliner pencil to add masculine shadows to my face today, and my parents finally noticed

Since my shift was canceled today, I decided to add shadows to my face: hint of facial hair, sharpening my cheekbones and temples, extending my sideburns, and accentuating my jawline.

First i pointed it out to my mom. Purely because I was so happy every time I looked in the bathroom mirror, that I couldn't keep it to myself. She became upset, saying "I don't understand" And I said that I didn't expect her too

My dad noticed, and I knew because he kept staring at me confused. So he asked "[Deadname] why does my daughter have a moustache?" And I said, "Because it makes me happy" Suddenly, he asks about my body; asking what I deemed wrong. I calmly explained that female puberty always made me extremely uncomfortable. Especially my chest, and how it literally made me cry having a chest that stuck out. (I'm fully aware that I don't owe an explanation. I'm hoping that slowly they'll change their minds) Then mom interjects, "What makes you think this will make you happy?!" And I said that it's already made me happy. Neither of them had anything to say to that. Then I changed the subject to break the awkward silence.

I haven't stopped smiling all day purely because I look more masculine. I look like me now more than ever. I don't care what their opinions are. I'm going to be happy

I've struggled to exist in the Texas panhandle but I've found a stable home with a roommate with the caveat that he smokes in the house. He smokes a lot, roughly half a pack indoors near close proximity to me daily. I hate the smoke and how it makes me feel but I really don't want to start over. My options are limited so moving out isn't an easy or straightforward choice. Thank you in advance!

Just a vent. You don't have to read it. I just want to get it out.

As the title says, my (27 tansmasc) brother (22M) turns every conversation to gender just to call me a girl/woman. Even where gender doesn't even fit into what we're discussing, he interjects it. All just to put me down.

I can forgive him giving me crap for doing things like showering regularly, or washing my face. You know cause "real men don't do that" yadda yadda bs

How can I possibly explain to him that the thought of being a cis girl genuinely makes me feel nauseous? How can I show that being called "he" makes me feel like the real me? The answer is: I can't. He's not someone I see coming around. He's 100% going to continue digging his heels in as my transition goes on. I've stopped caring about his opinion because he's not going to stand in the way of me being happy.

His opinion isn't going to stop me from starting T, or anything else I'm pursuing on this journey. I just wish he didn't spend SO much time trying to hurt me, demean me, and overtly disrespect me. I would be the one in trouble if I did that to him
