For me, the breaking point for Nick was Dear John. His sheer glee at using what he was told in confidence by someone at their lowest point to hurt that person and people vaguely connected with them years after the fact really cemented that he wasn't just someone who kept making bad decisions and fucking up his own life and the life of his family, but someone who is fundamentally cruel and evil.

I don't think the bullies on the school playground kicked his ass nearly enough. Probably would have done him some good. Maybe he would've learned to toughen up, and not be such a whiny eternal teenager bitch.

If I were him, I'd be scared of going to prison - he would NOT do well, and however you interpret that, yes it's accurate. They decide to pass him around, or they decide they've had it with this eternal teenager and beat him up in the slammer. I can only hope he manages to find a way to stream from there - just so he can fulfill his real Rumble contract obligations of course, not for the amazing entertainment value.

Well I've seen and heard enough, too many "he's a good guy, I hope he gets the help he needs" cop outs.

If this was a couple of hood niggers or inbred white trash getting high in a stinky degenerate drug den with their kids, the same people wouldn't be so understanding. Same rules apply, take the kids, lock'em up, actions have consequences.

From what I can tell Nick and Keyla have zero remorse, punishment is the only option. A stretch in prison for both of them and at least a few years of normality for the children, though the damage may already have been done. It will also be funny watching his community meltdown.

Obviously Nick is the primary person to blame for the situation, but I have a special disdain for hanger-on whores like April, especially since she will avoid any responsibility and just find some other middle-aged loser to latch on to.

I’m sure that bringing the cops in was the first and only step the pastor did, and he didn’t try any of the other suggestions at all. After all, Nick is so receptive to help, I’m sure if the pastor just talked to him none of this would have happened.

I think they are pushing the blame toward the pastor because Dax feels guilty for pushing Rackets too far after he pushed Ralph well over the brink. Everyone who tries to live like an LA based comedian destroys their life. He pretends to live this extravagant hedonistic lifestyle and the people who can't see through the act destroy themselves trying to emulate it.
