The misery of others isn't even real to him, he's talking about his own misery. Have you ever seen him talk about anything bad that doesn't personally involve him somehow? Ofc he knows that it sounds bad when he makes everything about himself, so he puts in the word 'others' or 'people' or 'customers', but he always means just himself.

It is really interesting because both he and Nick are clear Narcissists so it is really a competition between who can be more self absorbed and egotistical.

It's pretty well established Phil is a massive hypocrite, anything he rails against will be something he does in the future when what he's currently doing isn't making enough money. Like when streaming just started becoming a thing and he bitched about that, or when minecraft became popular and he bitched about it, or when react content came along and he bitched about it. His basic strategy is to be obstinate when a trend occurs, wait a couple years until that thing isn't really super popular anymore, make a lazier version of that thing, then bitch that he isn't getting a massive influx of cash for doing the thing and blame his dents.

It is pretty fascinating. The guy must be morally superior to his peers so, in his mind, he can demean and insult them whenever he wants.

As for doing what he made fun of before - that's easy, he was forced to do it. Either the system changed so much he has no choice or his fans asked him to do it. Therefore, if it fails, its either YouTube/Twitch's fault or his fans' fault. If it was up to Phil, he'd record gameplay and upload it unedited till the rest of his days.

Yeah that's what my original comment bringing that up was trying to say. Nick is a piece of shit and is probably more well off than DSP but him & his wife subjected the kids to be around both of them probably high or drunk off their tits. I think it's actually sick how many people are defending him knowing that there were kids living in that house.

You can 100% dunk on Nick for getting what he deserves BUT you can't then turn around and say, like DSP loves to do, that anybody saying bad things about DSP, or spreading "detractor memes" aka things that have mountains of circumstantial evidence pointing out that its true, should be demonetized, deplatformed and banned from YouTube.
