Yeah, but there's probably multiple reasons why he wants to keep it a secret, if I had to guess:
- As he has said, he wants to keep his streaming life separate from his personal life for a while because the Melina relationship was partially as chaotic as it was because she was also a streamer (and an attention seeking ape). That's the reason why he said back in December he probably won't ever date a streamer again.
- Currently he's debating, and fighting about the most polarizing topic in the world and multiple people genuinely want him dead, people knowing the identity of his current gf probably won't go well.
- If you read the Jonny Craig thread Cuteholly/Layna lost a bunch of friends for dating JC, because he's a piece of shit. If you see the social media of most of her mutuals/friends they are lefties who are pro-Palestine, some even commies, and Hasan fans. Her publicly dating Destiny, would probably lose her a lot of friends again.
-Possibly could affect Cuteholly's income, as her being single is probably better for her business.
As to the reason they are dating, and probably have been dating for multiple months now:
Layna first visited somewhere in November 2023, can't remember the exact date, but she used to be blonde. After her it was AuroraStarr. Between that time in which Layna and AuroraStarr where there was when Tiny started to suspect that Melina was plotting behind his back, shit talking and doing other shit, which is why he eventually stopped streaming for some days until Melina arrived the 30th (?) (I can't remember exactly).
Destiny thinks that to get over your ex the best way to do it is find a replacement asap, almost immediately. That's why as soon as he decided to divorce Melina he flew out Cuteholly/Layna for two weeks. Keep in mind he said this advice during the time Layna was there in December and again some weeks-months after, the only person that vaguely resembled that criteria, of being Melina's replacement, was Layna.
she's been staying over for what? 10+ days, definitely longer than his normal hookups, and he had just had her over at the beginning of last month ( can't be bothered to search for the exact date, she was blonde before ) which makes me wonder that even tho what he has been saying the last few days: "I'll never date again, or for a long time" (obviously not verbatim) if he's testing the waters to see if she could be his next GF, as he seemed to still be hung up on Melina during his LA trip+ the day he returned, but got over her rather quickly
During that time Layna liked a bunch of "romantic" (can't think of a better word to describe it) tweets, although as I've said before, she constantly purges her account of tweets and likes (I don't think there's anything deep to why she purges things, it's just an aesthetic that some girls do). This is partially why I believed that poster who came here a couple months ago and alleged to be an old acquaintance of Layna's, as they said that during the second trip she basically fell in love with him.
After that, she returned to Edmonton and Destiny went on his two month long man-whoring, in which I sadly learnt of Zoo's and Awnuh's existence (well, technically I already knew about Zoo

While Tiny was fucking half of the BPD girls in the country, Layna was fucking one of her exes (not Jonny Craig), and another guy (who's account I can't seem to find anymore, but that guy tweeted or retweeted a tweet saying " I think I'm in love" or something along those lines and deleted it, and also retweeted a tweet saying "The other guy won't provide for you" or something along those lines, also unretweeted that one). Her ex is, funnily enough, a DarkViperAU and mrgirl fan, the other guy is just some rando.
This behaviour, sleeping with multiple people at the same time, is important because, as I've explained before, when Destiny is yapping about a topic of a "random" girl "friend" he has it's not actually random, 90% of the time he's talking about the girl that's in the other room currently. So when in December he talked about his dream future relationship being more open than the one he had with Melina, while also around the time talking about how sometimes he meets a girl who's "super hot" but has a low body count he's always flabbergasted and thinks they should fuck more, he was talking about Layna.
Then Layna flew back to Miami around the 21st of February, and stayed, almost uninterrupted, until around the 20th of April. During that time they sometimes flew to other places to fuck other people, but again, the vast majority of the time was spent together (again, behaviour resembling what Melina's replacement that Destiny was fantasizing about would be).
Cuteholly/Layna also referenced, about a month ago, that her body count is low for her age, again confirming that the girl Tiny was talking about was her. Her change in behaviour is explained by Destiny's encouragement and wanting to meet Destiny's criteria to be her gf, which is to fuck more so Destiny can fuck more.
Layna/Cuteholly is actually more consistent, she describes all the guys she's sleeping with and sexting as her "boyfriends" when talking about them as a group, but when talking about them individually she refers to them as "friend"/"my friend", including Destiny.

Destiny on the other hand refers to all of them as "friend", "my friend that's visiting", "my friend that's over", etc. However, he struggles to call Layna his friend, it feels awkward to him, something he has never done to any of the other girls. Obviously, meaning he subconsciously doesn't think of her as his friend and wants to call her something else, only saying it for the stream.
The obvious behaviour as all of Destiny's friend following her on social media (Dan, Erudite, Nick, Straighterade, Lycan), also girls that aren't even on stream but are Destiny's friend vaguely interacting with her (The Spaceghost kari girl and the Curiocactus girl).

Dan in his early morning streams keeps referring to "Honey" (Layna's cat) as Destiny's cat now. Destiny keeps referring to Honey as his cat now too, although he corrects himself and says "My friend's cat" (he has done this multiple times in different streams).
Dan is going to look after Honey while Layna, Destiny and Lonerbox are in Israel.
The clip IslandCrawler mentioned, about Dan purposely prodding Destiny about getting a cat and dating. Keep in mind, Dan already follows Layna on twitter by this time, and he has already talked about the situation with Destiny in private, most likely.
On stream 2 days ago Dan asked Tiny directly what he was doing in regards to dating. Tiny said “I have no idea”. It was a very awkward instance. I don’t know where in the vod it would be, but it was on Saturdays stream. Dan came on, told Tiny he should get a cat, asked why he doesn’t have one. In which Tiny replies something to the effect of “I’d have a cat if someone I’m dating ends up bringing one here.” Dan goes “Oh, so you’re moving things forward to dating?” In which the conversation gets extremely stilted and awkward.
I think Dan did this on purpose to shit stir.

But now, more than two years later, I'm pretty certain it was Cuckstiny who sent her the flowers. It doesn't make sense for anyone else but him to have sent them. Lauren wasn't in good terms with her husband, he probably didn't even know where she lived, and Destiny and her were already sexting and probably had already fucked since they met up in DC and streamed together (Destiny didn't do any collab while in DC, he was there purely because Lauren wanted to finally meet irl, and even lied to MrMouton as to where he was traveling to).
I'm only mentioning this because it probably means Tiny sends flowers to girls he really likes, and someone sent Layna flowers:

This time, I'm even less sure that it was Tiny, as Lauren probably wasn't seeing any other guys at the time, unlike Layna, who was probably fucking at least a couple guys. I'd say 20% or less chance it was Tiny who sent her the flowers.

Destiny hesitating to say he's single, instead says current situation
Layna in one of her streams (can't remember if it was a twitch one or mfc one) saying she's not going to buy a TV or other furniture because she thinks it's pointless, since she's going to be flying so much to Miami. This obviously implies she's going to spend the majority of her time in the US.
Destiny hesitation to call Layna his "friend", even calls her "buddy" before he calls her friend, something he has never done with the other girls. "and then my... my buddy, friend is going."
Obviously, the fact that she's staying there months at a time.
There's far more shit that obviously implies they are dating, but as GumboVariant said, it's self evident at this point. Just wanted to make a long post about it so there's something resembling a timeline of how it happened in the thread, since it has only been sporadically posted about before.
If I had to guess, they decided to kind of have a situationship when she left in December, and last time she visited in February-April that's when they actually started to date. That explains why she originally thought she was only going to be visiting for a couple weeks but it turned into two months instead. And why this time that she's visiting she's pretty sure it will be a couple months.
Destiny and Lauren Southern interacting publicly again? Joking, memes? Interesting to see how this will develop.
I don't know what to make of these recent Lauren Southern interactions. Mostly, because we don't know the exact reason that Lauren gave him for why she rejected him. It can be that they'll remain being friends, or that they'll start sexting and fucking again, or that he'll try a round 2 of leaving his current gf and try to be monogamous.
I guess we'll just have to wait and see.
I probably won't be watching Layna's streams anymore, since the last time I listened to one she stopped herself from saying something because she knows people from the thread are watching, so it's pointless. So if she ever says something important and no one posts it, it wasn't because of a lack of will, I just can't listen to 2+ hour long streams waiting for her to mess up and give up a small detail. Especially now that it's pretty obvious that they are dating so I don't see any reason to keep tabs on her anymore.
