An Egyptian soldier has apparently been killed by Israeli forces near the Rafah crossing.

Have there been any updates on why Israel dropped the ball so spectacularly on October 7th?

Arrogance and complacency.

100% Israel thought they had Hamas 100% contained and that they couldn't breach the fence and that Iron Dome couldn't be overwhelmed by Hamas.

The troops on the border were complacent and many were asleep when the fence was breached.

Totally preventable but hubris comes for us all.

The Biden boondoggle pier has now completely fallen apart. I guess DEI engineering has its upsides, too:

In other infrastructure-related news, the Netzarim road across the Strip is now fully paved:

Translated video from the bonfire in Rafah last night (Abu Ali Express):

Last night's attack in Rafah - an authentic Palestinian testimony to Hamas' military presence in the targeted area

According to the Hamas MOH, the IDF's strike resulted in 45 deaths and around 20 injuries. Israel faced significant backlash from various countries, both Western and Arab.

The IDF spokesperson clarified that the attack aimed to eliminate senior Hamas officials in the West Bank command, emphasizing the use of precise weaponry. Despite these efforts, the IDF was taken aback by the scale of casualties.

The attached video, captured by a Gazan resident in the immediate aftermath of the attack, provides crucial insights. The speaker claims that the IDF targeted a Hamas jeep loaded with ammunition and weapons. Starting at 00:21, secondary explosions can be observed, indicating the presence of additional weaponry. The speaker voices his fear of a Hamas rocket flying at them, implying the presence of rockets at the site.

This explains the high death toll despite the IDF's use of precise munitions.

Is anyone else sick of seeing this retarded braindead shit? It's just the video posted above me, essentially a bonfire consisting mainly of obvious secondary explosions. People alleging there are hundreds of casualties, yeah okay. The UN just quietly cut their overall women and children death toll in half btw.

We have corrupt NGOs complaining about impending mass famine for nearly 8 months, meanwhile we haven't seen a single emaciated Gazan which is crazy given the amount of footage they pump out of that place. There have been several hundreds of thousands TONS of aid flowing in from air, land, and sea, to the point where there are entire X accounts dedicated to reposting Gazan social media wherein the "starving" refugees show off their overflowing markets, sell "FREE" aid for money, and throw out "expired" aid food. Every time there's a strike we get a video of somebody yelling and flailing a dead child around, suspiciously surrounded by 50 men aged 18-45 all filming with their smart phones. Does that not seem weird to anybody for a war zone where people are apparently fighting for their lives to survive? How are people this gullible? Oh yeah and all of this is BECAUSE OF A WAR THEY STARTED!!!

A population of 2 million crammed into a tiny area with a death toll, nearly half of which are militants (wouldn't be surprised if it was more than half) of 30k. To put things in perspective, these are current ongoing conflicts:

-Darfur Genocide: death toll between 80k-400k, nearly 10k people raped
-Syria civil war: 200k-300k civilians killed, 10k Yazidi women taken as sex slaves by ISIS in Iraq
-Yemen civil war: 150k dead from violence, 200k dead of famine
-At least (but likely more) 100k Uyghurs in Chinese concentration camps
-South Sudan: 15k-150k dead, 6 mil internally displaced, 2 mil displaced
-Myanmar: 25k Rohingya dead, sexual violence against 18k women, 116k Rohingya beaten, 36k thrown into fires

Apparently Eritrean niggers are rioting in Tel Aviv, a few injured and an Isreali dead. There are some videos of clashes but i don't know if any of it's true or if it's videos from the clashes in 2023. You can't trust anything coming out about Isreal/Gaza atm, both sides are lying their asses off most of the time.
It’s true, a guy did die. But this context is pretty misleading. This is not immigrants rioting in the normal streets of Tel Aviv a la BLM and hurting and killing innocent Whites. It’s immigrant on immigrant violence contained to Tel Aviv’s slums, between Eritreans who support the Eritrean regime and those who don’t. So basically, regular hood violence and no one fucking cares lol

Pierbros... it's joever:

The Pentagon has officially admitted that operations have been suspended and that the structure will have to be removed "temporarily" for repair.

Didn't it JUST start operations?

DEI incompetence, or maybe those building the pier did such a shoddy job that it'll fail relatively quickly to lessen the risk to US military personnel?

I love how they wasted so much money on this retarded pier, only for it to fall apart and what little aid it did bring in got stolen :story:

Completed on the 16th of May according to Wikipedia. Speaking of:
The U.S. military cost estimate to build the pier and operate it for 90 days is $320 million, roughly double the initial estimate.
Lasted a tenth of the projected time, led to actual military casualties and will absolutely cost more than half a billion before all is said and done.
What a waste.

. And if they fumble the ball, the US itself goes on as basically the same.
The US punishes military units all the time. marsoc foxtrot got yanked from afghanistan and everyone was labeled a war criminal in 2007. they didn't get exonerated until 2019. the commander, Maj. Fred Galvin, still can't get a promotion despite being exonerated because that's how the US DOD works. There's a number of other units who get absolutely fucked because someone accused them of warcrimes.

For some reason you quote me here but it isn’t my quote.

Remember this choice and likely idea came right from the top. The type of big brain idea that can only come from the detached (from the ground, practicality and sanity) minds of political elites in a bind. The people having to do it have to know how ridiculous and hopeless it is. So the latter isn't off the table. But OC it could be the former.

They keep using photos from Syria and saying they're from Gaza too.

There's more than enough horrible suffering in Gaza to not need to mislead like this but they cannot help themself.
