Sorry to necro this (sorta) but I was randomly doing some digging today on Shmorky. I found a few things that reinforce that he's still alive, granted I couldn't find activity from him anywhere.
First off, I found the address 5350 AUGUST ST, PHILADELPHIA, PA, 19137. Looking into it, I see it's been owned by the same person (some random Asian dude) since 2005. I expect my report may be off a touch because it shows he was a resident from 5/1/2005 - 12/13/2023. That same address shows 2 other residents - one of which is a 30 year old
furry, genderspecial, who likes to talk about
fisting on Reddit, and also used to make
Soundcloud music (that honestly isn't the worst thing I've heard) and the other is a 70 year old man. Looking at the
street view using Zillow I could easily see this being turned into a duplex, so I expect one of two things:
1) Shmorky has a roommate that is around 13 years younger than him who appears to share some of the same proclivities (God help the other tenant)
2) The address is flat out wrong
I also verified that the phone number for Shmorky is still active as of this month. His LLC was also still active until 2021.
Needless to say, I don't think he killed himself, nor do I think he's in (or was in) some sort of hospital. Sorry if I'm late on all this.
