Brad will probably tell us that Kaku condensed the sum total of his research into a 30-second clip on The History Channel, so there's no need to read the books.

I can't stand Kaku on tv, but I do enjoy his written works. Sad that probably every other farmer here is better versed than he is at this stuff.

@RomanesEuntDomus,

Sentence: Awful luck for the rest of your life, then 20,000 years reincarnated as non-human with 666 years non-commutable. (Going backward, 666 years ago [1350] puts you in the beginning of the Renaissance. You were probably a priest fighting the use of Hindu-Arabic numerals, etc.) When you are born-again as human, it will be under the very hellish circumstances of birth defects for 2,000 years.

Synchronism: "Over 100 years ago, astronomers thought they had discovered life on Mars." - Megastorms, How The Universe Works (S2/Ep2, 2012) on SCI

Fortunately, I just invented the Brad-Watson Judgment Indulgence system and the proof that it works is as follows:
During that time, I was not a priest fighting "Hindu-Arabic numerals", I was a german knight in service of Waldemar IV. and served him on the shores of Visby in the year 1361. :tomgirl:

Dickhead, I don't "attribute the entire Renaussance (spelling) to Fibonacci - I never said that and that would be ridiculous.

Wrong and I never said that either.
See:
Leonardo Fibonacci c. 1200 introduced Hindu-Arabic numerals to Europe. This is what ended the Medieval Age/ Middle Ages/Dark Ages and ushered in The Renaissance.

Quod erat demonstrandum, Latasilvas.

The really sad part is, most of the stuff that interests Brad is actually very accessible and there are tons of sources to broaden and expand your knowledge. But that doesn't matter to Brad, he doesn't actually want to know more about Fibonacci or Masons or US history. He just skims the text until he finds enough blurbs he can add to the fan-fiction that is his theory of everything. If he wants to say he has 40 joints in his fingers, he does. If he wants to say Fibonacci ended the Dark Ages, he does. If he wants to say that Jesus appeared on Star Trek... well, then that's the truth! The actual facts don't matter to Brad, he just likes making his story more complex.

Brad could become an actual scholar, if he wanted to be one. But he'd rather just tell stories.

Oooh, you speak French! (obscure?)

Everyone,

Leonardo Fibonacci by introducing Hindu-Arabic numerals and other Eastern mathematical and scientific ideas to Europe in the 13th century laid the groundwork for the end of the Medieval Era and the beginning of the Renaissance. I see that none of you considered this before reading my writing of it.

You guys are sticklers for the wording and spelling of my writings, while all sorts of krapp comes from you! Hypocrites and liars!

Yet one more instance where Brad obviously thinks something will become true if he says it often enough... and yet again, he claims it was ultimately one person that "ended" the medieval period despite saying that was "ridiculous" just 7 posts ago. :story:

Also, we never considered "this" cause it's factually wrong. :stupid:

It's all he has. In the space of two hours, he's gone from "Fibonacci ended the Dark Ages!" to "He was the primary reason!" to "Hey, it's a fun thing to think about." But at the end of the day, no, it isn't true. But Brad really can't grasp how we reject his premise, so he has to re-state it, thinking THIS TIME we'll get it, and he'll never have to change it or even admit that he doesn't even know that much about it outside of a wikipedia link.

Jesus never appeared on any of the Star Trek episodes or movies, although one Next Generation episode had the equivalent of the Klingon Christ returning through cloning.

Brad could become an actual scholar, if he wanted to be one.
I AM more than a scholar.

I wonder if he's like this in real life, too.
Someone disagrees with him and he just restates his claim but slightly louder (cause "louder" is the verbal equivalent of changing font and color).

Also here:
Link to the classic Brad video.

In the first ten seconds, and basically the second statement in the video is "somebody would have to come back as Albert Einstein reincarnate"... now that I think about it, the idea that somebody else might already have claimed to be Albert Einstein's reincarnation seems to never have phased his mind for real.

@RomanesEuntDomus,

No leader actually changes anything themselves; they lead others into doing it.

the idea that somebody else might already have claimed to be Albert Einstein's reincarnation seems to never have phased his mind for real.
Wrong again, 49p19h920. Years ago, I googled Albert Einstein reincarnated and found some 19-year-old named Donny --- who claimed to be him returned. My response to his post became the basis for Albert Einstein reincarnated - The 18 Requirements - google that, 142113B1421T19.

More important (IMO) is Brad's insistence that the only way for him to have come up with his theories would HAVE to be that he was Jesus and Einstein. It's the only possible explanation. Instead of, you know, maybe coking out while reading pop-new-age websites and binge-watching History Channel specials might have given him some crap ideas. The fact that Brad is unable to see why his story is unconvincing to others is the biggest evidence that he has some form of mental illness.

And yes, Brad has said (in a roundabout way) that he really doesn't care to discuss much in real life other than his pet topics.

@ChurchOfGodBear,

I bet $74 if we were to ask any of your teachers in school what they remember about you, they'd say, "He was the BIGGEST asshole I ever had in class!"

I guess Brad needs 148 bucks for coke.

So why is it that you were completely dumbfounded by the concept of people claiming to be Einstein just a couple pages ago.
Also, if you'd ask any of these self-declared Einsteins what makes their claim true and other's wrong, they'd give you a catalogue of bogus reasons. None of which really matter, but nevertheless, they'd have "proof" to their claim just like you.

Maybe you should try and engage some of these people and see what happenes. Maybe they will realize that they were wrong all along and accept you as the TRUE and HONEST Einsteincarnate.

@Hyperion,

Fist-time here? I think I remember you from a long time ago, but if so, you're not very memorable.

The two topics we're discussing are (A) Leonardo Fibonacci's introduction of Hindu-Arabic numerals influenced Europe so greatly that it began the Renaissance and (B) the Big Bang/Bit Bang - a supermassive white hole 13.8 billion years ago - was the result of a supermassive black hole in another universe. What's your views on these colorful subjects?

@RomanesEuntDomus,

Why do you twist everything I say in order to poke holes in my statements?
