It just occurred to me! Who's to say that "Gwimbly" from this season of "Smiling Friends" was a loose inspertation of Danial Larson? "Gwimbly" is homeless, big hook nose, high pitch voice, does Cameo videos and is prone to angry on the drop of a hat. I mean Zach Handel & Michael Cusack enjoy watching lolcows, why else were they gonna get CWC to star on the first season of the show (before the Barbussy incident).

Completely disagree. I can't think of a single thing Rekieta has said or done that has made me laugh even close to as hard as Daniel's BOB JUST RAN ME OVER or any other freakout. Like I get the appeal of his downfall and all that but he's not really that funny a cow. Even his downfall is more just depressing and pathetic then anything. This is a theory i keep seeing in yt comment sections, but the character and his backstory doesn't really fit, since Gwimbly is based more off of the "washed up actor" trope, a'la Andy Dick or Corey Feldman.

Hadel and Cusack are totally in tune with the lolcow stuff online tho, with Perry Caravello being on an episode, the near CWC cameo, and it wouldn't be surprising if they did something Larson related. But Los Angeles is full of has beens like Gwimbly (and other homeless), which is most likely where that inspiration came from.
